Take special note that this tube set comes with the mechanism that will set the aperture of your Minolta AF/Sony lenses to near maximum. (those lens's aperture are default to minimum, making it hard to use, especially for macro picture purpose.). You still need to manually focus your lens though,  as there is no electronic connection with this tube set. The t ube set is composed of 5 sections: male adapter (connect to Minolta AF/ Sony camera body)    -- 6mm; female adapter (connect your Minolta AF/Sony lens) -- 8mm; 3 sections ( 7mm, 14mm, 28mm). When using the extension ring with a DSLR/SLR, the camera should be set in the ‘M’ mode. Made of metal (not plastic).
