Colors are very distinctive and brilliant. The silver finish matches perfectly with the trim and base of the dell monitors it is sitting next to. Size--big enough that it does get noticed and small enough so that it doesn't get in the way, or take up too much room. Small, much smaller than expected. The liquid inside is more like water than it is in lava-lamps.
