Edit, Schedule, Revise and Re-list Multiple Ticket Listings at Once
Tickets Manager has an interface that has been specially designed to facilitate and expedite the management of multiple ticket listings at a time. Instead of modifying a single item with multiple clicks, you can modify multiple items with a single click!
The Action Icons
Many of these controls and action icons appear on all of the bulk pages. See below to learn how to use them.
- You can edit elements of your ticket information by clicking on the Pencil icon, which is available in the Edit Ticket Information page, as well as the Ticket Editor page. After you have made your edits, click the 'OK' button and continue with your listing.
- On the Edit Ticket Information page, you can an edit your eBay item specifics after adding an item to your list. Click on the eBay icon to open the editable fields, and click the 'OK' button when you have made your edits to continue with your listing.
- On the Edit Ticket Information page, click this icon to delete an item after adding it to your list. Keep in mind that this item will not be permanently deleted until you click the 'Continue' button.
- On the Edit Ticket Information page, click this icon to un-delete an item after adding it to your list. Keep in mind that once you click the 'Continue' button, you will no longer be able to un-delete an item.
- You can copy details from one of your listings across multiple listings. First, select the checkboxes of the listings that you want to edit. Next, identify the listing with the information you want to copy and click the 'Copy to checked rows' icon below each field you want to copy. This will copy the value to all of your checked items.
How to Edit a Single Listing
If you need to edit one of your listings, click the Pencil icon to the right of the column heading, or click the information itself (it's colored in blue) to open the appropriate text fields. You can click the 'OK' button after you are finished, or simply continue working; the data will be saved whether you click OK or not.
How to Bulk Edit Listings to Save Time
To save time, you can edit multiple listings at once. To copy details from one of your listings across multiple listings, first select the checkboxes of the listings you want to edit. Next, click the 'Copy to Checked Rows' icon that matches the listing with the correct information. This will reflect the change across all of your selected items.
How to Bulk Revise Live Listings
You can revise your listings while they are live on eBay to adjust prices, durations or other details as market conditions change. Tickets Manager enables you to make these revisions in bulk:
- Make sure you are logged in, and click the Sales Manager tab.
- In the left navigation bar, click on Manage Profiles.
- Click the 'New' button to create a profile, or select an existing profile and click the 'Edit' button to enter the Edit Profile page. Scroll down the page to the 'Post-Sale Automation Settings' section.
- Under the Active Listings tab in the Control Panel, select the checkboxes of the items you want to revise, then click the 'Bulk Revise' button.
- You will be brought to the Bulk Revise page, where you can revise key fields according to eBay's Revision Policy, summarized below:
- If your item has received no bids or purchases and does not end within 12 hours, you can revise anything in your listing except the selling format (for example, you can't change your auction-style listing to a fixed price listing).
- If your item has received a bid, a purchase, or ends within 12 hours, you can only:
- Add to the item description or add a second category (Exception: If your listing has a bid and ends within 12 hours, you can't add to your description or add a second category).
- Add optional seller features to increase your item's visibility.
- To make revisions where appropriate, click on the field to be revised and type in your new value. Note that the field will be highlighted in green to indicate that this new value will be submitted to eBay as a revision. If you decide that you DO NOT want to submit the changed value to eBay as a revision, you can uncheck the box for 'Will be revised'. The green highlight will disappear and your field will remain unchanged. Note that fields where additions are allowed (for example, the item description once the item receives a bid) are indicated with the icon. This means that the changes you make in those fields will be appended to the existing data already in that area.
- To copy new values from one of your listings across multiple listings, first select the check boxes of the rows you wish to revise. Next, click the 'Copy to Checked Rows' icon that matches the listing with the correct information. This will reflect the change across all of your selected items.
- When you have completed revising your items, you can submit them individually by clicking the 'Submit' button at the end of each row. Alternatively, you can submit your items all at once by selecting the checkboxes next to each revised row and click the 'Submit' button located at the bottom of the page.
- When you return to your Control Panel, look under the Active Listings section and monitor the status of your revised listings by looking at its associated icon.
- indicates that your revision is queued up and ready to transmit to eBay.
- indicates that your revision is in-progress, being transmitted to eBay.
- indicates that your revision was successful.
- indicates that your revision failed. This can be caused by changes to the item's circumstance during the revision process (a bid was received or the listing's end time now occurs in less than 12 hours) or, at times, because of known issues in the revise call used at eBay. Please see the FAQ for the list of these known issues.
How to Bulk Edit Pending Listings
If you need to edit your pending listings before you can launch them, go to your Control Panel:
- Make sure you are logged in, and click on the Sales Manager tab.
- Under the Pending Listings tab in the Control Panel, select the checkboxes of the items you want to edit, then click the 'Bulk Edit' button.
- To copy details from one of your listings across multiple listings, first select the checkboxes of the listings you want to edit. Next, click the 'Copy to Checked Rows' icon underneath the information you want to copy. This will copy the value to all of your checked items.
