Surely the Supreme Court will rule in favor of this poor guy in November. They can't afford to make another mistake in this century.

Came back after an absence and found you pretty well covered it.
In the strictest Christian terms the thought is taken as the deed. Not many of us can live up to that.
Had a shiny suit preacher offer me a tract in the grocery store waiting in line. He asked me if I was going to heaven. I answered him that the way I read the bible the spirit bears witness to you if you have the call to heaven - right? He agreed that's how it works. So I told him I had never felt that witness so I figure if I died right then I was hell bound. Got him all upset and he implored me not to say that.

"You're not in Kansas anymore, Dorothy"
In many states you must admit your guilt to what you were convicted of as well as many things you weren't, if you are seeking parole. Otherwise the parole board considers you in "denial" and not "rehabilitated".
Ever notice how many "get religion" in jail and lose it on the way out the door? Another way to make a good impression on the parole board. Who hires them anyway?
