I do one of two things & both work very well to get the salesperson of the phone fast.
No matter what they are selling, soon as they mention what it is, I interupt & tell them a family member is selling the same thing & I plan to buy from them.
Or, I keep saying hello, hello, hello, like I can't hear them, then as I hang up I say "Darn phone is out of order again"
