I feel an upsurge of fond memory...
"She touched me!"
"She touched me first!"
"Stop it, both of you. Don't make me stop this car."

Words have actual meanings, Borillar. Using a convenient definition, known only to oneself, is not communication. It's obfuscation. I expect that from politicians.

I dont have to devolve anything borillar. Youre doing a good job of it on your own.

No, Toke, I don't hold a political office. I'm just a run-of-the-mill cynic.

You directed this accusation at me and demanded an answer from me in an open, public forum. I asked you to clarify your accusation, as it was too vague to be replied to. Your refusal to make yourself clear shows that you are only interested in smearing people with no substance or proof to what you say. Therefore, you have nothing of importance to say and can be ignored, no matter how badly you want to be heard. Is that really how you want it?
Pay 'tention to the bold. It fits your foot youre chewing on.

Trust me, Borillar. I never thought for a moment that you held a political office.
I should have added emphasis for clarification:
"Words have actual meanings, Borillar. Using a convenient definition, known only to
oneself, is not communication. It's obfuscation. I expect that from politicians."
There...

Words also form actual meanings and if a question is framed in a way which is critical of or casts an aspersion upon the intended respondant or upon that person's expected response it can be viewd as borillar claims.

NearTheSea - what does a President of this country make nowadays? $400,000.00 Not nearly enough IMO. Up until President Bush was elected, it was $200,000.00.

Are you saying that your post above defines your view of the definition of slander, krs? That is what Borillar claims, as you know. Slander.

I agree it isn't much considering the job we expect them to do, but there are also a heck of lot of "perks" involved.

They also get 50,000 expense money, and that has been that way since Harry Truman passed that and capped it, and its stayed the same since.
Wow, Bush got the 'pay raise'?
