If you had a choice would you rather interview Clinton or Bush? (Am I doing this to my own thread?)
No matter how much you or I don't like the man he can sure talk. But interviewing Bush is like locker room interview of a dyslexic jock who is not allowed to say "ya know". It must be very difficult for a reporter.
The only time I have every seen the man speak was when he spoke from the heart about Candra Levy being missing.
It was interesting that Pres. Bush made a military plane available to bring Clinton back from Australia. His daughter was on the lower end of Manhatten and he was very worried about her.
I would love to hear him talking about going after Bin Laden if it were his watch. "What do you mean by vaporize?" -- "I never promised the Paks they would be safe down wind."

Bin Laden will not be found in Afganistan...
It's just a trap. Terrorists everywhere are waiting for the counter attack.
In fact, I think that is part of their plan.
Fighting hate or terrorism will take a long time and effective intelligence and diplomacy will be the answer...not military action.
Military action to resolve the need for vengence only invites a counter attack.

I think so too. Nothing would be better in bin laden's view than a great war between the east and the west. So far bush and the AW policy makers are playing right to his hand.
He has a very limited power base so his only role is to be an agitator. Estimates are that less than 1/100th of all muslims are sympathetic to laden's practices. He'd no doubt prefer that there were more behind him.
