Anyone watch this tonight? It's the newest "reality" show.
Anthony seems to be the most wanted guy on the ship right now. (I personally found it funny when Michael called him Aristotle)
I do NOT like Toni. She seems to be the bossiest female on the ship.
I think that Bob (the Kenny G look-alike) is a slime. Him and Gina hooked up on the ship, and Gina specially requested that the females NOT vote him off because "he was so nice, he quit his job to find love, etc". Then he turns around and votes for her to be voted off!

EG, what time? Probably 8 my time? What station? CBS? NBC? Im due for another reality show, now that BB2 is over and Survivor wont be on for some time yet.

It's on Fox and here it was on from 9pm-10pm.
I had just said earlier today I miss my "reality" shows. Didn't even realize this was on tonight until I saw a preview about an hour before it started.

Jay Leno is having a field day with this show. He has suggested that since it's a "reality" TV show, the show's creators give it a name that is more grounded in reality, such as Ship of Whores. He also expressed an optimistic thought that the scientists of Columbus's day were right, the earth is flat and with any luck the "Love Cruise" will sail off the edge of the planet.
You know, these shows were crap before. Now, in light of everything that's going on, they seem ... well, worse than crap.

Well, EG, I watched it. I DONT like anthony. And I DO like Toni, lol. She came off really strong, but she also has a heart. I didnt care for Gina at all. Classic case of "hell hath no fury", ya know? Bob is definetly a sleaze. Of the guys, I havent decided which one I will root for. So far, Im not really impressed with any of them. In the girls, I am leaning towards Toni. That could change later on though (I learned that from BB2). Im going to have to see more personalities before I can make a decent judgement.
I thought it sucked how the producers set it up for teams to be paired up. How embarassing for the guys not chosen. Reminded me of grammar school, when teams were chosen and the one left standing alone felt so bad. I was one of those...until I got a 'tude like Toni.

Hepburn ~ I know what you mean about having a couple of the guys not getting chosen. I felt really bad for Michael (the attorney who said "I knew I wouldn't get picked"... he kinda seems like a nice guy. Sounds like he's gonna do whatever he has to do to become "popular" with everyone.
As for the females, I didn't care for Gina either, but just thought it was sleazy how Bob turned on her after she tried not to get him voted off.
Toni comes off as a boyish bully. The previews of her in the coming weeks reminds me of Alicia from survivor when she got in Kimmy's face.
But, like you said, these are just first impressions. They are likely to change after every episode!

Well, its official. I dont like ANY of the guys. Tony, who was kicked off tonight, seemed decent enough. The rest are slime. As far as the girls are concerned, Im leaning towards Tomika or Toni. I do NOT like the wimpy skinny brunette chick...cant think of her name (she was not chosen by any of the guys for the 48 hour team-up). She strikes me as two faced. Watch her and the lawyer dude make it to the end. both fugly and both not-so-nice players. Thats my take...so far.

EG, no THE anthony with the tats on his arms is still there. Hes slime, too. He went to all the other guys and complained about Laura, who he wanted all to himself and already put a claim on here. The dude is weird, and a bully. The whole point of the show is for everyone to meet each other, not hook up at the begining of the game and stake your territory. Laura wanted to dance, swim, listen to the guitar and in short, have fun. Anthony wanted her to stay in the cabin while he read books. Tony, the other guy, liked laura and let it be known he did. Meanwhile, there was a dance contest and the winner got a Switch Ticket. Meaning, that person could switch a voted person for another one. The black dude won the switch ticket, and he was voted off, along with Laura (thats where slime came in..he complained to the other guys about laura being a user, and they followed his lead like the sheep they are) and she was voted off. Well, the black dude said he wasnt leaving the boat, so instead of HIM leaving with the vote, he switched it to Tony leaving, because...and this is rich, lol...he knew Tony liked Laura so to tweak the other guys noses, especially Anthony's, he sent Tony in his place as the banned person, and Tony got to go stay on aruba with laura!!! LOL! This is why I dont like ANY of the guys so far. They all ganged up on laura (besides Tony) because she wouldnt OBEY and be MEEK and be ANTHONY'S chosen one. Geez...they all just got on the damn boat and he honed in on Laura and decided she was his, period. NOT!
It comes on again Monday at 9, pst. Toni, the girl, seems to be next in the backstabbing from the guys. Seems the guy she is interested in is playing HER too, and it promises to be a wild show on monday, lol.

Hey EG, didja watch? That Toni is an idiot. Skinny lisa told Toni that her beau was flirting with her, so all the girls voted off the dude. Stupid lisa begs for attention and whines that she isnt pretty enough, she is shy, blah blah blah, and when the guys tell her she is pretty to shut her up, she runs to toni and tells her and the others that he was coming on to her behind toni's back. So what does toni do? Why, she believes her instead of ASKING her boyfriend. DUH. Buncha teenyboppers who havent gotten out of the girly clique yet, is what they are. And that Anthony. He is NASTY. He told everyone that one gal was calling whathisface a deadbeat dad and he LIED. Did the guys believe her when she said she didnt? Hell no. They trusted their "home boys". What a bunch of maroons they all are.

Thanks for the updates!! I only watched the 1st episode, and completely forgot about it last night! I was actually in bed by 8:45 last night (I went ebay shopping yesterday, you know how tiring that is!) I'm really bummed I missed another episode, but I'm so glad you have kept me up to date!!
When is it on again? Isn't it on 2x a week? I am going to try real hard to watch the next one!!

Skinny whiney lisa is gone. She got voted off for playing with anthony and michael, and telling each one she kissed them. Duh. And toni...she is just another nicole with her fake bawling every time someone gets voted off. She won the switch card only because whatshisface helped her, and when they voted him off, she didnt even save him and went with her "homey's". Duh again. The whole bunch is a pack of backstabbers.

I watched last night's show.
I kept sitting there, waiting for something "good" to happen. But nothing ever did. The backstabbing was all too familiar (BB2), the whining (BB2), etc.
I can honestly say after watching only 2 episodes that I do not like ANY of the women or ANY of the men. And for some reason I don't see that changing!
The previews for the next show looked pretty good, but previews can be deceiving.
Next show is on next Monday, 9pm. Hope it gets a little better than this!
Ohh.. and did you see the commercial for Temptation Island 2??? Fox doesn't learn, do they?

Yes, EG...Im looking forward to Survivor3! I will be watching Cruise Brother (lol) tonight. I dont much like any of the women either, so far. Well, maybe that one black girl, but I cant think of her name. She doesnt follow the leader like the rest do, and wanted adrian to stay. Time will tell if she is as idiotic and teenage mentality as the rest of them. The men...they are all dogs.

NastyBoy Mike got busted today, with his game playing. Problem is, the same ones playing the same power game forgot they are just as guilty as he is/was and those same people jumped him. Two faced, is what they all are. Its all ok until they get busted, then they turn on each other. They all still suck. None seem even halfway decent. I dont even know what I watch the dam thing. Guess its because Im weary of the other stuff, so this takes my mind of it and focuses on a boatload of losers.

Since I've watched the show, I still have not liked ANYONE on this show.
Have I mentioned I can't wait for Thursday (Survivor 3!)???

Wasn't Toni buddy-buddy with Jeanette (the girl who came back from Loser Island) last night? She even asked her to take 1/2 the money if she wins? And isn't that the one she is supposed to flip out on tonight?

Toni reminds me of that female wrestler - Chynna.. and that skinny brunette Lisa who got kicked off last week reminds me of Olive Oyle.
