tiggressoflove, when I looked this morning at what I had done it made my day. I had a good laugh first thing this morning. I get so impatient and take out my aggression on my enter key.

What little town? I'm at the beach, but love that area of the state! Went to school in Rock Hill, shopped the original Hamricks in Gaffney...my mother's hometown is Rock Hill so I have spent a lot of time in the upstate.

"I do feel pretty safe Helen. That's a good thing about here. And since the community water system and it's back up generator are sitting in a cow pasture in your relative's backyard, I don't worry about the water much....least not while you are in Maryland anyway."
LoLOL!!!
I really had to laugh out loud about that comment. Now, you know that I would never endanger your water supply when it would be so much easier to blow a little anthrax around.
Actually, I suspect that my husband has a good supply and that he plans to sprinkle some on my computer keyboard. If I stop posting here, then you will know what happened.
In that case, you should sic Edwina on him! She has both God and the sheriff on her side.

tiggressoflove - Sitting here chuckling at you not being able to get the email notification function working. Forgive me, for I know it's not funny to you. It's just that I have had just the opposite problem the two times I used that function. I have never been able to get mine to stop.
You might want to email the moderators at: [email protected] and see if they can help you figure out why it's not working for you.

Little town of Rochester has it's own (horrible) water from wells but where my wife works is on the Detroit water system. So I am buying bottled water for her to take to work.
They University already has shown they can't control it. They had glycol in the water last summer.

gravid,
I don't know if you ever get to New Baltimore, but if you do, on Jefferson, south of 23 Mile Road is a natural spring in a small cottage type building. This business has been open since about 1922 when the spring was first discovered. It is open 24 hours per day, and is self service. They have really great tasting spring water for .50 per gallon.
The last time I was there, an older man told me he has bought drinking water from this place for 37 years.
