I just spent over 25 minutes looking for a very important message thread, one that's critical to my business. Since I could not remember the original title, and since the shortcut I created isn't working, trying to find it manually has thus far proved to be a frustrating and maddeningtask. I now fear I will not find it at all.
I have been advised by other angry users that AW previously provided a message search capability, but that you arbitrarily removed it!
May I respectfully suggest that you place yourself in the shoes of those who use your products and services for a moment and actually try to use the message system as you have implemented it? It should take about 30 seconds for you to realize that without a basic search capability, your message system is counter-productive and creates a HUGE AMOUNT of ill will, all of it unnecessary.
Have you seen so many messages like this one that you've become immune to them? Or do you honestly believe that people are perfectly happy sitting and reading through hundreds of pages in a forlorn attempt to locate a specific piece of vital information? The message system is apparently good only for posting messages like this one, though I fear that assumption will prove to be incorrect also if (as I expect) nothing is done about it.
If you believe that your responsibility to support proper functionality is merely an abstraction, you are mistaken. You're supposed to be professionals! It's long past time to get off the dime -- you would never stand for this if you were affected by it as I have been.
Please excuse my tone -- I rarely ever post messages like this, but right now I am furious beyond words.
