I almost used the 'I see stupid people' line, but its sooooo passee

LOL

Hi Zilvy and Hepburn!

edited to say

hjw, you know, I see someone invite you down there with a drink sitting there, friendly as can be (and non alcoholic too) and you have totally ignored it. Course its up to you what you do, but you've been there before, you know there was a friendly invite from someone, and well... ahhhh never mind

Nearthesea, ol helen will pop back in over there when Antiquary goes back to play the jukebox. Or, if krs decides to drop in for alittle fluff or to visit his floozies. Then she will have egg on face because how can she go see dead people when those she admires most are there hanging out with them? It doesnt bother me that she ignored my invite. To each his own. I invited, she ignored. What else is new? Oh, unless I tick her off. Then she will rush over there to throw in a few "and furthermores" and then ask the thread to be locked. Very similar to a "neener neener I got the last word" sorta thing.

I thought I saw some silly fluff
and posted rules to show I'm tough

The moderator called my name
and clued me that is not my game

I thought I had some license here
to curse and rave and snidely snear

and teach those trolls to have some fear
But now my posts have disappeared

Just wait until the month is done
We'll have the right to have some fun

We'll have our say just any way
at least the ones who choose to stay

Hepburn, I can see that happening

OH, I wasn't using the I see Dead people or I see stupid people against anyone at the bar, it was a play on words, or rather, read between the lines to someone.....

not you! or Zilvy

just hjw

I smiled moderator, actually I smiled really big!

alien.com!!

I can see her floating beside a geostationary satellite hooking into the internet feed. Trying to understand all these weird customs of the natives. Defeating their simple primative encryption to get a credit card number to stay on AW. How will we ever know that we are not talking to another human? Maybe when the questions turn to the unspeakable - like what do you people use those rolls of paper for I see you rubbing on your faces in the TV commercials. Why does krs scare everyone with those eyes just like mine? What species is your supreme commander and why isn't he from this planet?

Not when I have my foil hat on - it breaks the link. I meant like the alien's eyes.

gravid, is that the first time you noticed the alien.com ?

Yes, now you know. The credit card encryption is something we figured out long ago, in fact, it was one of our commrades who helped one of your humans to create the very first credit card on your planet.

We have come to observe this planet. Many have left, many have stayed. We have taken on the humanoid appearance, and blended in with your cultures.

Some are names you would most likely recognize. Have you heard of Bill Gates? He is one of us. Art Bell is not, but he is getting dangerously close to discovering who we really are. It is my job to monitor his transmissions to your world.

Thanks nearthesea for a good response.
Poor Art - I am sure he will get a one way ride but at least it should be more interesting than Hoffa's.

Hi deliteful, nearthesea, and Helen...

I decided I'm going to stay. Should be interesting here.

Gravid and krs, will you still be staying also? You may have said earlier but I haven't had time to review all the threads.

Hi Enchanted!! I dunno if I'm staying, well if they don't charge, and the CC is only for identification use only, thats cool.

Gravid, Art will always be safe, we've admired his determination on his quest for alien life. We just do not want him to know too much, if he decides to transmit too much, we just block out his transmitter, or what you call his radio broadcast.

Hi enchanted.
Good to see you.
I've thought of you with the Florida reports and hoped that you were doing well.

Thanks antiquary! I'm glad you're staying

oh it's anthrax central down here ... thanks for thinking of me... I have to admit it's been worrying me a bit. They are trying to decide now whether or not to close the two Boca Raton post offices I use (in addition to a Deerfield Beach post office) for complete decontamination procedures. I get my mail sorting bins for shipping out my packages from those post offices...

What times we live in, eh?

Yes, I was afraid that it would be pretty stressful there. So much now seems to be concentrated on the east coast, but it could spread to any part of the country I suppose. I hope that the persons or organization responsible is as limited as the agencies seem to think.

Hi Enchanted and Antiquary!

Glad to know that you will be staying! I suspect that most people will be. And then some who are leaving may really return with a new name. LoL!!!

Enchanted, Our Maryland suburbs of DC are becoming much like Florida. The Landover post office that processes mail for the Justice Department has just tested positive.

Now, the disease has been found in Florida, New Jersey, New York, Washington and Maryland. Wow!!!

Hi Helen.

I hadn't heard about the Landover incident yet. I'm sure that you have a good deal of concern also.

Maybe we should rethink our plans about relocating when Jean retires. We're too insignificant here to merit much attention.

None of us is out of the woods yet, but hopefully those in charge of internal security are beginning to clear a path.

Off to run some errands.

Hi Helen is the Landover post office near you? I hope not. Please take care if it is.

It seems everytime I turn on the news there's another report of something like this...

AW images currently unavailable Spaz? what do you mean, not displaying in Ebay auctions?

Hi Enchanted!

Landover is not too far from us but I worry if it's as far as California...

I'm not sure what images Spaz was looking for. I read this entire thread and I saw some weird stuff, but no "images"...LoL

Take Care!

Helen
