I hate to ruin your butch image, Rocker, but you sure are friskie tonight!
I'd hang with you, any day.

Biologically I am 41 but mentally oh about 17 I think.
outoftheblue - I spent the better part of my life being angry, then I saw it for what it was.
I don't know what that means for you, but for ME, anger motivates me to make changes. I don't wanna get complacent like some people in my life who have "given up". For me, expressing anger is healthy, because when I could not feel it, I was dead inside and thought I had to just "go along" with everything. I was VERY depressed as a kid and far into my twenties. Anger turned inwards is depression. But I have learned I have options and I can express when I'm angry and do something about it. So I do, and it works for me. That is why I continue to do and say the things I do. I like where my actions take me. I like the results of my actions in my life.

Rocker,
Your posts always delight, and you've truly been a trip the last couple of days! You do seem young - not in an immature way, but in an alive way. Keep rockin' darlin'!
You may not believe this be we have quite a bit in common. That's exactly how I used to motivate myself. It worked but I found that it was hard to sustain that motivation. It causes burn out over time. Hey, if that's what works for you though, that's great.

outoftheblue - Sure I believe we have a lot in common. I also happen to like you, blue, you keep me in the ring for many rounds, and I never get bored Also your wife is a hoot. I also like the way you talk about her, you DO show that woman respect, and it looks like you both love each other a lot. I think that's really nice.
Shadowcat - I'm happy to see you - are you feeling better? How are you doing? I was thinking about you.

EEK! ) and now I'm hurting to the point of breaking down and taking Tylenol#3 for the pain. I don't think it was anything to do with the procedure, that went well. I think it was because I might have overextended myself. I had to drive myself home, which took an hour(for about 20 miles).
On the upside, I have another appt. in the clinic in the ayem. The downside is I have to drive again(since the tom is unable to see properly).
Okay, I'm finished whining now.
Thanks for thinking of me. I appreciate all warm, fuzzies.
Will you be posting elsewhere?
(I'm going to bed now so I won't be able to party down to the last minute. )

Yikes Shadowcat! Why don't ya ask some friends to help drive you around for now? Hell, I don't have a car, but I'd come get ya in a taxicab! I sure do hope you have a speedy recovery.
I will probably be posting here for a little while longer at least, and Tigerlady has a really cool message board I know I'll be going to. Ask her or email me for the link [email protected]
I am signing off for now but I will be back, AW can't get ridda me that easy.

Rocker, I'm glad to see you are sticking around. Even though we don't agree on a lot of things, you still have my respect. You didn't take the things I said personally and that says a lot about you...
