now now , snowegret.....small though it may be....rabunzel had previously asked us to share any good things we saw President Bush doing or agreed with to share.

I'm sharing.

Linda is right. What most folks don't realize is that something nice can be said of even the worst of tyrants, such as Castro and Hitler. For instance, I've heard this quote on many an occasion about Adolf Hitler, "At least he made the trains run on time!" Or, with Castro, "At least the people of Cuba's lifestyle has dramatically improved over what it was before Castro took over."You see? Even the worst monsters to ever walk this earth can have something nice to say about him, so how much less will Bush have nice things said about him afterwards?

I'm just sharing my opinion. Paying for the paperwork is good, too bad there's no money left for anything else.

Sorry. Posted this in the wrong thread.

I meant to post it in the "It's a BAD thing" thread.

Sorry, Linda!

This is lovely...all this sharing. I don't have anything good to share. In fact, if I hear the word "share" again, I think I will self destruct. HaHaHa

Just teasing of course continue with your sharing.

I totally agree,

Everybody love one another and share.

ed. to add the word, "totally" which always comes before agree. HaHaHaHaha!!!!!

Helen - I feel another thing I need to SHARE with you.

While you seem to be mocking my approach...I don't think there's anything wrong with people sharing their thoughts and opinions on these threads.....with civility...without rudeness. There's nothing wrong with being kind to other people even when in disagreement.

"There's nothing wrong with being kind to other people even when in disagreement "

I have reconsidered my agreement with that statement and I have changed my opinion.

Depending on the degree of disagreement and the nature of the disagreement, civil would be a better word in most cases since the word "kind" implies a patronizing attitude or behavior.

And in severe cases of disagreement, even civil behavior is sometimes difficult to maintain. Right?

I believe the word kind implies:

Humane, considerate, forbearing, and tolerant.

And those are good things

You think that if someone is being kind to you, they're being patonizing? Come on Helen, you don't really think that do you?

Shelly, I had you pegged as Laura_Bush for one (no I didn't consider that poster particularly nasty). I guess I could be wrong about that but there are so few Republicans on the boards.

Nearthesea, you'll have to learn to be more sneaky. Even I knew you were LauraBush. and I am not nearly as good as Stockticker when it comes to detective work

Actually I had you pegged as a couple of other anons too but I forget the IDs now and I don't "do" archives.

Wow. And I remember when registering there, and never, really, never posted as any unregistered_fillintheblank though some of those names sure gave me a chuckle

I am ShellyinWa on ezboards (you knew that one ) , nothing else, and this one here, and I'm still Laura_Bush at a site thats nothing to do with ebay or have I seen it mentioned anywhere here, its Pal Talk, and I was going to mention that to Borillar one time. He mentioned he would love to have a 'net radio' if I remember right... thats kind of what it is, and they do broadcast on the internet.

Ok now I've said more than I wanted... LOL, thats all the names I've got.... before NearTheSea, I registered with my full name, first and last, here, for a long time, that was a mistake

You must be one of the three, stockticker? For one who seems to be against AC, you sure spend alot of time there reading it long enough to "peg" someone's posting style.

Uh Huh.

I am not sure exactly what made me realize that Laurabush was you , some of the things "she" said sounded like things you say and the way they were said sounded like you. That and the name. It's alright, you weren't a meany.

The others that I thought might be you were just one time anon posters, unregistereds you know. Probably just LauraBush want to bes. Just remember ~ imitation is the highest form of flattery so some one must have enjoyed Laura.

Is it hot enough for you here today? Geesh, we go from 60 to 90 in a couple of days...I'm melting!

Yes, I did go over to read AC from time to time and surprise, surprise I have seen (supposedly) anonymous posters try to start a bashfest against me. They never succeed - one of the advantages of my being a rather boring poster on the boards.

Spineless though not to confront me directly rather than try to stir up #*!@ in such a cowardly way.

Someone tried to stir things up about YOU, stockticker? How awful, and especially against someone SO well respected! Yes, that IS spineless, isnt it? Like, daring someone to post who they are after spewing their own venom and then complaining about AC being what it is and attracting such rude posters. Why, tis outright shameful. Such hypocracy, yes?
