The trick is to ask for Your thread to be womd.I ask to shorten my name to junque, and explained why I was asking for a thread to
be womd last sept.I heard from a girl named
Tara,She explained nicely how changing my name would screw up the account and no mention of the thread. So I've wondered if Diana was still here.

Oh, DianaAW is still around. She's apparently the one who suspended 3 or 4 people, including Jack. One of the people who was suspended posted elsewhere the e-mail Diana sent him. It says in part:

...we have removed your posting privileges due to disruptive and/or insulting posts in our message center... Please contact us in 30 days in order to request reinstatement.

My guess is Jack received the same e-mail. I've been been self-moderating over all the wailing going on on the EO about Jack's suspension - many posters want him to have "special" treatment. You do the crime, you "does" the time.

I assume they both were, Snowy. They were both acting up on the EO before they disappeared along with Jack.

I've never been accused of being a chatterbox before, particularly by someone who probably has posted a million or more words (if her previous ID was included) than I have on the RT.

To explain Irene's comment for those who don't know me...

My former ID was HJW (my initials) before I was suspended for using a hyphenated word. When I returned, I changed my ID to Helenjw (my first name and initials).

Take out the papers and the trash
Or you don't get no spending cash
If you don't scrub that kitchen floor
You ain't gonna rock and roll no more
Yakety yak
Don't talk back
Just finish cleaning up your room
Let's see that dust fly with that broom
Get all that garbage out of sight
Or you don't go out Friday night
Yakety yak
Don't talk back

You just put on your coat and hat
And walk yourself to the laundry mat
And when you finish doing that
Bring in the dog and put out the cat
Yakety yak
Don't talk back

Don't you give me no dirty looks
Your father's hip, he knows what cooks
Just tell your hoodlum friends outside
You ain't got time to take a ride
Yakety yak
Don't talk back

Yakety yak, yakety yak
Yakety yak, yakety yak
Yakety yak, yakety yak

I was at a local restaurant the other night and was watching a group of six people interact with the waitress. They were seated and ordered coffee. A few minutes later she returned and took their orders. It was after the bars closed and they seemed a little tispy, mabye from too much booze.

One of these patrons were quite loud and obnoxious. He ordered a breakfast special from the waitress. She asked this particular loudmouth how he wanted his eggs. He indicated scrambled. Everything was going fine with him until the waitress brought his order which was wrong. Instead of bringing scrambled eggs, she brought eggs that were sunny side up.

This person changed for the worst and blew up at the waitress. He strated screaming at her, demeaning her at every chance he could. Of course the other patrons in the restaurant quickly noticed this ugly display of behavior and immediately and became upset about it. Additionally, this drew the attention of the restuarant management.

The manager knew that to maintain the atmosphere of this business, he had to make a decision. His choice was to either allow the loud patron continue in his fit of bad temper, causing ruin to the other guest's visit, or to expell this loud person. He chose to expell the person.

Suddenly the other five people gave this restaurant manager a very diffucult time about this desision. They were up in arms that their friend was asked to leave. They simply couldn't understand that his conduct was grounds for this to happen. The restauant manager told them that they were always very welcome in there, but their behavior had to be in line with the rights of the other patrons there also.

As the six of them left, they were b*itching and complaining about the decision. They said they lived in a free country and could say anything they wanted. The remaining five displayed a behavior that was similar to the first one.

I wonder why they couldn't understand there is a certain standard of behavior that is expected in public? Is it possible they didn't possess the characteristic of self control?

Yawn......... Another (much too lengthy) analogy that sucks.

I have always believed that anyone that violates community guidelines and gets booted should do their time. If AW was lenient with one and let them back because of public outcry they would have to do it for all.

And I also believe that hearsay and negative things should not be said about anyone that cannot post here.

Is it possible they didn't possess the characteristic of self control? Coming from someone who has completely lost it several times here.

Hair, so sorry to hear about your Grandma. I am sending good thoughts your way. Take care.

kiara,

If you are tired, then go to bed!

WOW! You must have been at that same reataurant to see the whole thing. It was relly something, wasn't it? I don't know if those people who at the reatuarant even know about Auction Watch or not. We are talking about the same people right?

I have never lost self control on this board. Any posting that I have made has been with forethought and intention. Some may see it as a lack of self control, but actually it was a feasible strategy that accomplished the results that was intended.

Also, please keep in mind, these threads that you indicate that I had lost control in were closed by AW as being non ebay related. I'm sure you and I may never agree on how strategy and self control are defined, but we both can agree these threads were closed by the authority that deemed them unrelated to ebay. You, of course, are completely entitled to your opinion, as I am also.

A couple of more points. I have never directly called any poster on this board any name in the past, nor will I ever in the future. You can bank on that. Additionally, when I have an ebay related issue or question, I take that issue to the Ebay Outlook. If I have other issues that I wish to post that are non ebay related, I take them to the Round Table. This is how AW designed their site to be used. I think they hope the members display self control on this issue.

Now take some Sominex, and have a good nights sleep!

Yeager, it is highly unlikely that I would be in that restaurant as my friends and I don't frequent those places.

I am fortunate to be able to live my life without medications and I can sleep very well without taking the drugs that you seem so familiar with.

The previous threads were brought down by someone who had the super ability to "copy and paste". Perhaps they will feel free to exhibit that same quality here. What was the previous record? About 10 pages? Go for it. And as always, have a nice day.

Yellowstone he knows Jack very well, he was instrumental in destroying one his threads by posting the same message over and over and over at least ten pages long because Yeager lost control and the thread was ended by a/w. Yeagers actions caused it to be determined to be disruptive. Yeager was the only complainer. Yeagers spray painting all over the walls was the end of it. Yeager graffitied it all up. All Graffitti people do it because they feel unwanted and they need to bring attention to themselves. Yeager only checked in here to cause more trouble. This is Hairs house and Yeager stomps right in with his muddy boots and bad mouths the guests. A real go by the rules type. A perfect guest too I might add. Be sure to invite Yeager to the next get together. Care for some more beans Yeager?

For Jack,,,,,,

AND THE BEAT GOES ON,,,,,,
