I went to the store and did not like any of the $100+ camo jackets so I made my own yesterday. It is non-reflecting and although you can't tell in the pic some areas are even textured quite rough. Next I yhink I'll make my own guille suit - pancho.
Give anyone ideas or how you'd improve it?

Kevlar lining would add protection and warmth. Might be hard on the knees though, depending on the weight. Drop down gas mask in the hood. Ammo bag sewn on the side for secure carrying pouch. Waterproof it.

I live about 2 miles from a nice military surplus store, so I get all sorts of fun ideas.

Gravid, it's not crap. Beats paying 100$ plus, especially if you're a not average size.

It is 6X.
The gas mask I don't need but a net veil with camo on it to cover the face would be good.

Oh yeah and a rocket pack for short hops......

Looks good. Looks like fall, you'll blend in great this time of year but now you need to make a white one for the snow and a really pretty flowery one for spring.

Is that a hole in the sleeve? You'll need to cover that with net or something so the mosquitoes don't get in.

Don't wear it in an evergreen forest. Your oak and maple leaves will stand out.

That's pretty inventive gravid! Good timing too with Martha Stewart on the way out the door and all.
