Junquemama

It seems that everything is being privatized - even hospitals. We have a hospital in a poverty area that is waging that battle right now in Washington DC.

Happy Birthday, krs!

Happy Birthday, krs!

You're an inspiration to us all, krs. I know that I've always hoped to live to be that old.

Thanks for the heads up, Helen.

Hi, Antiquary!

Actually, we will have to give snowy and junquemama credit for that!

I try my best to forget birthdays!

Oh, that's the result of my skimming, Helen; I think that I missed an entire prior conversation. Couldn't be age, afterall I'm not that old. Like krs. Lol.

Thanks snowy and junque!

Hey, I was only 2 days late. Thanks junquemama. And Happy birthday to another SAG. The arrows shoot straight. And Happy birthday to Mrs. Antiquary!

Thanks all, and especially thank you, Dan, for you've amply demonstrated for me through your forgetfulness the perils that lie ahead. When I with luck reach those elevated numbers of years which you have already somehow attained perhaps I'll be less harmed by them than you are because of your inadvertent forewarning.

That's truly remarkable, Ken. You've proven that the old saw, "You're never too old to learn," must be right. Who would have thought that you would still be learning from me.

Snowy, Jean says "thank you" for the belated birthday wishes.

It's true, Dan, that I've been delighted in discovering that THAT old saw applies in my case, for I had become concerned during my observations of your , err, advancement that another one: "You can't teach an old dog new tricks" might instead have proved to define the fate of both of us....

Lol!

Well, it could be considered an advantage of age that they seem to be new ones. Who knows?
