Wow, someone else who has read the Gor books Those have to be some of the most mysoginistic books ever written--big male dream-stuff. Women sleeping of furs at the foot of a man's bed, etc. Censorship, like charity, should begin at home; but unlike charity, it should end there --Clare Booth Luce

Seems to me that she could have extricated herself from the situation if she really wanted to. Then if he forced his way back in, it would be rape. I am also wondering if, after 4-5 minutes, he even heard her. And does "I have to go home" mean, 'STOP RIGHT NOW!'? It's been a long time since I was 17, but 'I have to go home' would not have caused me to think I was raping her if I just wanted (or needed) to finish up.

>No way Borillar! A woman could demand all the sex she wanted but unless the guy was 'interested', nothing would happen.
To the contrary, KD, there have been cases where men have had a gun pointed to their head and threatened that if they didn't perform, they would be shot. The men under such threats did perform. Those were cases of rape.
Compare that to a domestic abuse case where the man is in love with the woman and is willing to please or rather, to appease her. While he may not want to have sex and she does, being the dominant person in the relationship (and the violent one and the psychologicaly abusive one), she gets her way and it would be rape.

I've really never thought seriously about things in that direction before Borillar - men being raped (by women). If ever mentioned, it was always in a joke or something. Although I'm sure it's quite rare, it's an interesting subject in itself. But being raped while in an abusive relationship is something different to me, whether you're male or female. I don't see how charges could be laid if the 'abusee' lived that way.
bunni, I laughed my head off last night about the elastic thing! I know it's a serious topic but I've never heard of that. And here I thought I was pretty clued-in on all that junk.
