Calamity - I'll be darned. Yes, I've mentioned it several times. But I support the actions Bush has taken and those he has been trying to implement.
My platform is simple- prosperity thru seizure. Following the lead of the fine and honorable leaders of nations the world over, the US Government will sieze all mineral resources within US borders, declare them a "National Resource" and turn around and allow the private companies that were formerly the owners to continue to drill, mine, etc for a small fee with the sale proceeds going to the US Treasury- then we can afford guns AND butter and pretty much anything else we like.
If that isnt adequate, I'll nationalize Garbage Collection nationwide on the grounds of "National Health".

Wow, prosperity through seizure. What a concept as opposed to the present system of prosperity for the few through bribery.....
The main diffence between Republicans and Democrats....
They are are going to stick it to you from behind, but, the Democrats at least have the common decency to take you to dinner and a movie first.....

As for the "trickle down effect", we only felt trickled on, but no trickle down....
The theory behind "Trickle Down Economics" is whatever change falls out of the wealthy's pockets after the Govt has stuffed them with free money, is yours!
