I'm not sure if Vendio condones pop-ups or if it's just the nature of the internet these days....but while in my photo gallery within Vendio, I was "attacked" by a pop-up ad for Win-Antivirus. The ad virtually took over my computer monitor, with no way out. I couldn't reduce the page, move it or exit it. I had to shut down my computer. All this took time out of my uploading my photos and getting my auctions ready. Pretty annoying! If there is any way that Vendio can dis-allow these annoying problems, I'd be so grateful! I pay for a service and I don't need to be solicited while I'm working. Thanks for listening!
Vendio does not allow any popups from out site. If you are receiving them, there is something else on your machine triggering them.
I would check your system for spyware, dialers, and mIRC bugs. Go to Add/Remove programs and remove any suspicious programs (be careful...only remove what you are certain is suspicious...like 1800search, searchassistant, mIRC, etc.)
Next install a spyware remover such as: Ad-Aware (www.lavasoftusa.com) or SpyBot (www.safer-networking.net)...remove all spyware/adware that is found.
You are done at this point but if you want to go one step further and protect yourself from future instances you can try installing Spyware Blaster and Spyware Guard (www.javacoolsoftware.com) and also WinPatrol (www.winpatrol.com).
