Thanks toollady,
Gee an honest response...which I appreciate..I will check it out but not "hold my breath"..LOL!
Shame we can not all find an "auction site" deserving our items, let alone our character!!! (Well most of us, but NOT others!)

Well put Toolady...
I also wanted to mention that SYI has an auto-relist feature and (my favorite) an import feature to import old auctions from eBay and Yahoo. It's fantastic and easy to use.
I've had some stuff listed there and haven't gotten many hits yet. But, then I wasn't getting them at the other sites I've been listing at either. I think it will just take some time.
As a newbie I've checked out the chats and user forums and have been warmly welcomed and found them all to be helpful and kind.
I will be checking out other sites but I think SYI is one I'm going to stick with for awhile.

toollady,
I thank you for taking the time and also stating facts about SYI. I must admit I have heard of them but not checked them out seriously. Geesh I guess I should give them some serious consideration (not that I think I am a BIG Seller), but I do have unique and lovely items for sale at discounted prices.....I thank you for your Post!
I would love to find an HONEST ebay alternative.......I do not mind paying, but only if a site brings Buyers!!!! I also will NOT tolerate a site that LIES like ePier!!!!1

Hi Beescandle....
Just dropped by the you-know-what over at who-know-where and left a thank you for you and Goldenpony for the charity auction you guys ran/bid/bought/completed for us at epier. Thanks again from all of us at The Woman's Club.
MAD
On a different note, I checked out Sellyouritem and listed a couple of things. No bids yet, but it's early days.
If you think your candles might attract the wican/wigan crowd, try out epaganauctions.com. I listed some tarot cards there that got a bid the first day.
I've also registered over at Carnaby. No action there either, but it's still too early for me to tell.

Sorry Mad.....I didn't see your post earlier! I'm really glad your charity was able to get some funds. It is a worthwhile venture. I will try to arrange some type of listing for all the charities going on at all the different sites as soon as I get a bit of time. I will try to update things next week if at all possible and if ya'll will send me a list of where any charitiy auctions are listed I'll be happy to add them

Thanks Mad,
So glad that you were able to post feedback for me at ePier (sorry I can not do the same, because I am banned!).
The money that was raised via Goldenpony's bid for your very worthwhile Charity Auction, was sent in good faith!
The other Charity Auctions that I planned on having are now banned from listing. My Brain Injury Association Auctions were also nixed due to EPier..........such a shame. And Shame on them! They are such Liars and cheated a lot of Charity Auctions!
Hope people see the truth!
