A lot of interesting and useful information is not disclosed in a real trial. I also like the behind the scenes reality of this program. Just the few minutes that I was able to watch was riveting.

Next...

ROMANCE ENDS IN MURDER--Defendant Delia Contreras faces a jury for a second time for the murder of her estranged boyfriend, Anselmo Vasquez. Though Contreras was initially convicted, that verdict was appealed on the basis of a Miranda violation and is now being retried by Deputy District Attorney Jill DiCarlo. Without a weapon or eyewitness, D.D.A. DiCarlo endeavors to prove that Contreras committed the crime. National Domestic Violence Hotline 1-800-799-SAFE TV-14

That is going to be a good one.

Last weeks was interesting too. It was a kidnapping and rape trial. What you found out from behind the scenes but was barred in court was that the accused had been recently released from jail after murdering his wife. That can't be mentioned but the victim got all of her dirty laundry aired. It's a shame that victims have no rights in court, they just keep getting slammed. No wonder so many women do not come forward.

Wow, your daughter must have had a blast. There's so much history there. Did she visit the Tower of London?

As far as history goes, I did find several fossils on my camping trip this weekend. Turns out what used to be a riverbed is now just a pile of "rocks". I would have liked to have more time to search. An archaeological goldmine! We had a friend along who studied this very thing. Said the fossils are at least 30 million years old. Imagine holding a rock that contains an animal from that long ago.

I wouldn't say I "love" Brits. Hume is OK, despite his unfortunate choice of venue, but Eklund's a bit skanky.

Here is proof that Helen is an American.

She says "sneakers" not trainers. (sixth post)

She says "trucks" not lorries. 10th post on this page)

She says "golden raisins," not "sultanas." (Well, I couldn't find her saying this, but I'm sure that she does. She is, after all, American.)

On second thought ... just to prove it, helen, .... what do you call raisins that are not black but rather a dark yellow color?

How about that! Twelvepole.

Twelvepole is always saying, how about this, how about that. You do also, Clarksville. You must be emulating his posts since you "like" them so much.

LOL!

No, I am not a Brit. You may check out my location on my Ebay Auction Site.

BTW...Stop following me around delivering nasty comments that are irrelevant to the topic being discussed. I haven't bothered you or your alter ego.

With all the wackos in and out of these boards I am not sure posting your ebay ID is such a good idea there helen. You may want to consider editing that out Unless you no longer intended to use that ID. I enjoy seeing how flustered I can get ya but all in good fun. Having you ID out there for all to see could be a disaster in the wating. Just a friendly (for a change ) word of warning.

I saw it happen to and individual on this board. It was in the e-bay room not here. always good natured ribbing but there is that one that will go to far and take it to a persons personal and business life. With that id your e-mail address is easy to get then the spam and worms start. Then with the ease of creating e-bay accounts all your auctions get bid up and NPB'd and you have that hassle to deal with and the negs of course. The poor fellow on the other board had to change his e-mail address and e-bay name and had a MAJOR Headache for what must have seemed like months to him. Very hard to ever find the individual responsable as well. I wouldn't wish that headache on anyone, it's hard enough to keep track when things go smooth !! See I'm not all "evil" after all LOL
