Ah, the good ol' boys.

I don't care what lies Clinton told. They didn't cause the murder of thousands of people. If Clinton's lies are the best you can come up with, that's pretty pittiful. I've been looking for some intelligent facts coming out of the right, but all I've read is the same old, same old: "But, mommy, Clinton lied."

No twelve, the key word is died. This is not about me or who or what I am. This is about Americans being killed and maimed in Iraq as an enduring consequence of gratuitous lies and disastrous policies orchestrated by the diabolic viper who now occupies the White House, and his equally evil princes of darkness who perch parrotlike in his cabinet.

Each death is a tragedy, not only for those who die, but also indelibly seared into the hearts and souls of all who love these young men and women. The fetid aroma of these painful scars will be an excrutiating burden, forever borne by their mothers, their fathers, brothers, sisters, grandparents, uncles, aunts,
nieces, nephews, sons, daughters and children not yet born, as well as their comrades in arms and all compassionate human beings, whoever and wherever they may be.

How long before all Americans will transgress the paralyzing fear that has been inculcated into their breasts and abandons this calamitous "roadmap to peace" upon which they have, unwittingly, forcibly embarked, before it leads us all to the brink of the abyss from which there is no return and no salvation?

Every morning we wake to hear the dead and wounded report from Iraq. Without any reason for being there, how can Americans endure this horror?

Today, Tenet will be questioned in a closed door hearing. We will soon discover that the entire Bush administration is involved in betraying the American public. The entire bunch, Dick Cheney, Scooter Libbey, Steve Hadley and George W. Bush will eventually share the hot seat with Tenet, their designated scapegoat.

Okay 12-pole...

Let us hear some "facts" from the right that they haven't admitted were mistakes so far?

Let us hear some "truths" from the right that haven't been FACTUALLY PROVEN TO BE LIES so far?

Put up or SHUT UP!

that's why we no longer bother.

Who doesn't bother, twelvepole? All of you liar loving patriot types? Who cares? Certainly not me.

Otherwise, feel free to ignore this post. Not like you weren't warned in my initial post.

I grew up in a Republican household. My grandfather couldn't get any more Right. That is, until he retired during Bush, Sr's reign. Funny, he died farther to the left than I am. Wonder what changed his mind? His pittance of an SS check? The fact that the company that he retired from took back most of his retirement during a bankruptcy? Hmmm. Or, is it the fact that during the Clinton years the U.S. was prosperous? You know what, I'll never know, and that's fine. He finally saw the light after years of my harping at him.

Don't you dare call us un-American. Truth - isn't that the American way? Because we want to know the truth that makes us un-American? No, twelve, that's precisely the thing that does make us American. Not a one of these posters has ever condemned an American soldier over in Iraq. Not a one of us said we hate America or don't believe in what she stands for. We do believe in what she stands for. This adminsitration just isn't it.

So, go ahead. Call me names, condemn me, accuse me of not knowing the facts. You have a right to. You may have chased other people away from this board, but this is one person you are not going to chase away. Your words simply bounce off me. They don't hurt me one little bit. They may anger me some, but not a lot. Every poster here loves this country and every poster here is trying to protect what America stands for. Too bad, you aren't.

Here is your REAL American President:

At Walter Reed Medical Center in Washington DC recently the Sergeant Major of the Army, Jack Tilley, was with a group of people visiting the wounded soldiers. He saw a Special Forces soldier who had lost his right hand and suffered severe wounds of his face and side of his body. The SMA wanted to honor him and show him respect without offending, but what can you say or does in such a situation that will encourage and uplift? How do you shake the right hand of a soldier who has none? He decided to act as though the hand was not missing and gripped the soldier's wrist while speaking words of comfort and encouragement to him, presented him with a coin, and said, "God bless you."

A few days later, President Bush visited the hospital, greeted several soldiers and presented many with medals. Mr. Bush also encountered the same soldier who had lost his right hand. When the soldier offered his limb in greeting, the president cupped his bandaged arm in both hands, said "God bless you," and kissed the soldier on the forehead, according to Sgt. Major Tilley's spokesperson

This story was told by the SMA at a Soldiers Breakfast held at Red Arsenal, AL, and recorded by Chaplain James Henderson, stationed there.

There may have not been any press there: George W. does these things regardless of the presence of the press.

As far as deaths in IRAQ,

The majority that died did so under arms.

I don't think anyone hear has said getting rid of Saddam was a bad thing. "Lying" to get rid of him was the bad thing. Continuing to keep our men over there to be killed is a bad thing. No one will disagree that Saddam was evil and evil needs to be destroyed. Only, we didn't destroy him. He's still out there doing God knows what. I think he's more of an danger now to us than before. At least we knew where he was before. I don't know - do we actually know where he is and what he's doing?

Geez Loueez!!!!

I think the movie industry should sue Bush for copyright infringement. That scene was ripped straight from the movie "Patton"

Was Bush wearing a flight suit when he "supposedly" did this?

In case you didn't notice, that is what we are fighting for...OUR FREEDOMS! We are trying to keep them as the Bush Regime tries to take them away. To anyone with more brains than God gave a rock, Iraq never, ever was a threat to our FREEDOM. But the Bush Regime is....through lying to push through an agenda to restrict ours and dominate the world....

But I guess you already knew that and hope that because you must hope your loyalty get you higher up on the food chain

Cheryl doesn't know any facts... where did you come up with that one Twelve? If she, or none of us know the real facts, why don't you correct us so we're truthfully informed?

Did President Bush know, in advance of the Iraqi war, that Hussein had no viable nuclear weapons? If so, he and his entourage lied to the world and people died for a phoney cause (as everyone here has tried to politely explain to you). To me, he indeed lied, but if nuclear weapons ARE found, I'll apologize to all for my opposition to Bush.

P.S. If the U.S. goes down-hill, Canada, Mexico and a lot of other countries will follow, so again Twelve, this isn't just an American thing.

Sorry, I meant to say half of my opposition to Bush.

The scapegoating of George Tenet cannot eliminate the need to obtain answers to the following questions from the Bush administration. The major questions as posed by the Washington Post are....

1... First, were U.S. and allied intelligence agencies wrong when they reported that Saddam Hussein continued to possess weapons of mass destruction and the means to produce them?

2...Second, did the Bush administration deliberately distort the intelligence reports to convince Americans that war was necessary?

It is vital that a debate go forward, and that the Bush administration be prepared to respond to it constructively. If intelligence assessments were wrong, Congress must probe why they were, and whether political pressures had any influence. But first it is necessary to determine the facts. Despite what some of the rhetoric from both sides might suggest, that job has not yet been done.

You are right about the Mae West quote. Only now it should be: Give THE man a free hand and he'll use it to accuse you of being a terrorist.

You know, if this man had any dignity at all or any sense of what is right he'd allow this investigation to go forward. He'd want to prove that he did nothing wrong. By fighting it all, it tells me that he's afraid he's been caught. Guilty, guilty, guilty. A man is innocent until proven guilty unless he forgoes the trial. He will forever remain guilty in the court of public opinion unless he stands up and allow an investigation to go forward. He needs to take it like a man. Just like he expects our soldiers to in Iraq.

And bear...who is full of bull now?

It seems your side has been totally unable to prduce any evidence to the contrary of what the other side has been producing. But you have been able to maintain your insulting and outright unsupported denials. By all evidence, it is you who is full of it and shouldn't be opening your mouth.

Here's another saying....
