This weekend is the Gay Pride parade, rally and festival and although I am not gay (a fact which makes my boyfriend very happy), I will be at the parade. I will be at the rally and I will celebrate at the festival. These are my friends and if their lifestyle bothers you, stay away from them. No one is forcing anyone to talk to them. They don't need nor want your approval. What you think is what you think and it matters not to them. They are afterall, people. People whose blood is the same color as yours. People whose hearts beat the same as yours. People who have dreams, ideas, and hopes. Same as you do. They don't inquire about what you do behind closed doors and only expect the same courtesy from you.

Twelve, we all know you have a problem with it. I really don't care why you do. You sure as heck bring the issue up an awful lot and I don't know about anyone else here, but I sure wish you'd give it a rest. Geesh - get happy will ya?

KD

I'm on a roll today. That's what happens when you-know-what hits the fan at work. That and the fact that we developed a problem with moths at home and had to bomb the house with bug spray. I think I may have inhaled too much. LOL!

I am happy cheryl and will be more happier if and when this abomination is stopped...

I do notice you haven't told yeager or others to "give it a rest" so until they stop pandering to the misinformed... I will not be stopping either...

Homosexuality is wrong... calling me queer will not stop me from saying what many think but are afraid to say...

Twelve,

Nobody called you a queer. Even though it was recently ruled by a New York judge that calling someone gay is not libelous, I would not do that. I don't need to call anyone a name to make my point. To me, these threads are about making opinions known and not about labeling people.

I did say, and continue to believe that your chosen homophobic behavior labels your identity. That's all.

A person who hates people of other races, is a racist. A person who hates people who are gay, (in actuality or in belief), is a homophobe.

I strongly believe that if I started to, and continually made negative remarks about blacks or Jews, there are people that would come down on me with lighting strenght.

I don't recall anyone here calling you a queer, twelve. We're messing with ya, twelve. Hear ye, hear ye, twelve is not queer. He just like to talk about it - all the time. Although to your credit, twelve, your Signs thread was not about homosexuality although parklane tried to make it so.

You can label however you want... makes no difference to me...

Your threads started after my vacation is shows that you yourself cannot leave this subject alone... there are two sides to everything and I am giving people the "rest" of the story... people will make up their own minds on the subject, but with the information I have given out... they now can make a more informed decision.

I do not truly believe that homosexual unions will be entirely stopped... but the division of communities this has caused is real and not some abstract fantasy...

The educated people on this board made up their minds long ago about this issue. They did not need your "links" from a group that brainwashes people into thinking they have been converted into being straight.

I doubt people used your information to make a more informed decision because you have not provided any useful information.

Logan, Twelve's informative posts are for the benefit of the hundreds of "lurkers" out there who have no idea how they stand on any issue, so they come here for guidance and answers. Why would anyone only be content to hear half the story of treating gays as you would yourself, when you can balance your views with Twelve's informative version of how to handle queers by killing them or beating them up? Get with the program!!

kraft,

I agree. It has some good when people like twelve post here. It shows others how unthinking and cruel some can be towards other groups. People like him might be an asset to the gay rights movement.

I also believe that most of his posts are based on emotional hate, and not thought and reason. It's very hard for a person to make sense when they he/she is angry about an issue.

To quote Dr. Phil, "When you are angry, you are at your weakest point".

Yeager, Twelve insists he is not angry, just as much as he insists he's not gay or homophobic, yet his posts say otherwise. He truly thinks he's fooling everyone.

I have no problem with people hearing "the other side of the story" when the other side is presented in a factual way. I have already given links that show Twelve's so-called proof that gays can be changed is not widely accepted and is filled with flaws.
Twelve's views are completely extreme and how can you say they give balance to any situation when they are filled with hate.
Do you honestly believe in any of the stuff he is peddling?

Logan - I was being sarcastic.

Twelve, if you could learn to read properly, you would see my post says that "you insist you're not gay but YOUR POSTS say otherwise". Where did I say you were queer? YOU'RE the one that gives that impression by your posts and I'm certainly not the only one here who thinks so. Usually there's a catalyst to behaving in such an anti manner, that's why I asked you if you were raped while you were in jail. So go ahead and pretend you are only doing God's work or however you justify yourself, but don't be too surprised if others come up with the same impressions of you and your posts. And Twelve, I don't use "backdoor insults" - whatever that means. I use the front door.

kraft,
I apologize. I didn't mean to jump down your throat. It is hard to ascertain the intentions of some of these posts. With so many posts on here, I haven't been keeping score who is in favor of what with a few exceptions.

Hey Logan, that's no problem at all - my fault really. I just assume most people here know when I'm being sarcastic. Twelve and I fight about this all the time and I assure you, I will NEVER agree with his version of the story.
