From Christiancoffee,"It is people like that that do make me wonder if they have monkey blood in them. Maybe something a forefather did in the jungle...."

YES, "christian".....
It's sad that some individuals have to resort to their ultra-opiionated nonsense and insults. But that is the way it is here on this board now

Christiancoffee,

Remember when you said this to me...

"I had hoped to come back, and see some un-bashing items, and let everyone know why FAVORITES wasn't finished. After the last several days, comming in here and seeing yet again the RT AW crowd tring to destroy someone due to thier oppisite views, really sickins me almost as much as the funerals I just returned from attending. I do not know if I should finish it now, for what goes on in here, espically right now, really makes me ill."

If it makes you so ill, why keep on returning?

Helen

If you check threads from two years ago or more you will find similar conflicts between others that posted here (some have left now) so nothing much has changed. It got very ugly at times then also. It has also got ugly at the EO once in awhile.

Of course I don't want the "opposition" to stop posting but it would be a bit better if some who point fingers realize that they are guilty of doing the same things they are accusing others of.

As some may have noticed, there is no love lost between Linda_K and myself since she turned her venom on me when I said I didn't worship Bush. She touts herself as such an innocent poster yet she has no problem calling me names, even when I'm not here. At least when I went too far I had the decency to admit it and apologize to her on several occasions but I've never seen her admit any wrong.

Just because Linda_K's son was mentioned I don't think it was reason for her to attack Helen and then mention her daughter because it reduces Linda_K to the same level. In fact it's worse because Helen wasn't the one to attack her in the first place.

It's a joke for Twelvepole to now play "victim" and even start a thread like this. There are very few "innocent" people here, no matter which side is posting and I include myself in that. JMHO

Can you provide a link, Helen, so I know exactly what you are speaking of: I would like to see my quote in it's context.

BTW, I "come back" because I pay for the services here, as does anyone who posts on this board. I "lurk" much more then I post.

In Christ,
Rick

John 3:16
"I am trying here to prevent anyone saying the really foolish thing that people often say about Him: "I'm ready to accept Jesus as a great moral teacher, but I do not accept His claim to be God." That is one thing we must not say. A man who was merely a man and said the sort of things Jesus said would not be a great moral teacher. He would either be a lunatic....or else he would be the devil of Hell. You must make your choice. Either this man was, and is, the Son of God: or else a madman or something worse. You can shut Him up for a fool, you can spit at Him and kill Him as a demon; or you can fall at His feet and call Him Lord and God. But let us not come with any patronizing nonsense about His being a great human teacher. He has not left that open to us. He did not intend to."

Certainly, Rick.

Uh, Rick, Vendio doesn't make a dime off of me. Not every poster here uses their services. Interestingly, I want this forum to continue so I recommend them every chance I get. How diabolical of Vendio, eh? The word I get back is that Vendio is not perfect, but they stand out from the crowd. I would really be at the crossroads if they became Ebay-esque.

parklane: "not every poster uses their services."

This is true. But if you do use their services, maybe you should feel privy to using the boards without being told your POV is unwelcomed verses not even using their services. Its kinda like a country club - members and non-members.
I agree with you btw about these boards, I dont post on other boards though I occasionally read them ...(but then I'd never get anything done!! )

Twelve - grow up. get over it, and move on. if you don't want to get blasted every now and then, don't bother posting threads or blasting other people. it is a pretty simple answer to your post.

everyone should recognize we are in the midst of a war, we are in the midst of an election year with a president who has created more public debate than any other in at least the last 30 years, the Red Sox and Yankees are duking it out, and we have record highs in Portland, Oregon. if you want to write a poem, or tell a story, go right ahead. no one is stopping you.
