You know, Linda...I or anyone here would have to be insane to make that remark that you have forgotten and now try to paraphrase.

I hope no one decides to boycott anyone based on this list. I found several people on the Righties list that I am almost (and I said almost) positive are not on the right.
One of the things I found interesting is there are several couples who have a partner on both list. Granted some of those are no longer couples. I wonder why?

Boycotting a performer because you don't like their politics is idiotic.
Am I going to boycott Mel Gibson because he is supporting Bush? Of course not. I like him as an actor, regardless of his personal beliefs.
George Clooney supports Kerry? Fine and dandy. But as an actor I can't stand him and avoid his films entirely.

I want those who found my responses too strong to you to note that I have been very cordial under the circumstances. Notice that in this thread, you have falsely accused me of making a statement without any evidence to support your "memory"...a statement that no one in their right mind would make. You couldn't even remember the statement but paraphrased it.
Then, you accused me of using a Clinton quote today without attributing that quote to Clinton...again you make this allegation without evidence.

I think that anyone here who 'paraphrases' another poster and when called on it... or as I like to say it, "put up or shut up" should post the exact words and the thread where it was originally said.
Do you ever notice that some are never able to do it? They either go into hiding for a while like cowards or accuse the other of harassment or like now, accuse them of editing.

I'll give you a suggestion, Linda. When you want to point out a remark that I have made, copy and paste it into your comment with a link. Then you will have irrefutable proof. You won't wind up looking like a fool and have to say that I must have anticipated your remark and quick edited the remark out. Anyone can check the time of your charge and the times of my edits and verify that nothing was edited today after your charge was made.
That's how most people use quotes...with a link. Do you believe that anyone else that you argue with here would let you off so easily with your attempted smear tonight? You know that they would not. I'm going to continue to ask you questions. Soon, your technique will be obvious to everyone.

And take that statement for example. Why on earth would I make a statement like that? It's equivalent to saying "everything that I say is a lie." How ludicrous.

I remember thinking why in the world would she say something like that. It will only make those who read her statements doubt when she is saying what she really means - and when she isn't.
Kind of like when you make a statement now...someone 'calls' you on it and then you make it sound like you were joking. Puts the question in their mind...whether you were or weren't. Same thing.

This thread reminds me of the time Helen said she was an anarchist. I brought it up in a later thread and she swore up and down she never said it. She did.
In fact she's the only one that saves every, I mean every (to the letter) message ever posted on this board. Scary isn't it. I prayed that Helen would get a life but my prayers are falling on deaf ears.
