Your the one who keeps calling names and chooses to correct spelling. If you notice, which, probably you haven't, I don't resort to name calling like you do to me and quite a few others. What's your problem. You can call me any name you want if that is what excites you. Can't correct the crowfarm. as she gets upset.

etexbill.. this one's for you! LOL

An old cowboy sat down at the bar and ordered a drink. As he sat sipping
his drink, a young woman sat down next to him. She turned to the cowboy
and asked, "Are you a real cowboy?"

He replied, "Well, I've spent my whole life breaking colts, working cows,
going to rodeos, fixing fences, pulling calves, baling hay, doctoring
calves, cleaning my barn, fixing flats, working on tractors, and feeding
my dogs, so I guess I am a cowboy."

She said, "I'm a lesbian. I spend my whole day thinking about women. As
soon as I get up in the morning, I think about women. When I shower, I
think about women. When I watch TV, I think about women. I even think
about women when I eat. It seems that everything makes me think of
women."

The two sat sipping in silence.

A little while later, a man sat down on the other side of the old cowboy
and asked, "Are you a real cowboy?"

He replied, "I always thought I was, but I just found out I'm a lesbian!"

Wait a minute here, how did she know to ask if he was a real cowboy. Do cowboys all have a certain look, a certain something that distinguishes them as cowboys??

Yeah, all those jobless demonstrators can thank Bush for their job loss. How many jobs have been lost while Bush has been in office? I thought Bush kept saying the econmy is improving...when will we actually see some results that matter.

I used to live in Dallas and I don't recall seeing anymore cowboy hats or boots than anywhere else in the southwest. Anyways, I was just kidding around, not really looking for an argument. LOL Funny joke by the way.

I gotta go and do some real work now, so have fun ya'll (ya'll is a Texas saying ya know)

thanks, drdolittle: although I don't agree with you sometimes, I like your honesty and sense of humor.
And hey, I spend a lot of time in Dallas and can count on one hand the number of times I have seen anyone in a cowboy hat or boots there. Now Ft. Worth, 30 miles away and all one big city with Dallas, that's a different story. They drive Longhorns down the street at the Ft. Worth Stockyards, which is now a tourist area.

twelvepole said: President Bush is and will continue to make history that is good for the US, maybe in 2008 the Dems can get a candidate into the White House again.

I agree that President Bush will be re-elected. There's just no way I can believe this Nation would vote a farce such as kerry into the highest office of this land.

But...[horror or horrors] should he be elected....he'll either be impeached or not re-elected....and you won't see another democrat hold that office for decades. That's how terrible a President he'll make.

I thought this is a republican "convention".
These protesters goal is only to disrupt the republicans the right to have their own party convention. These so-called demonstrators are so busy wailing and running the "its all about me line," most working NY'ers are bound to just ignore them as another sideshow they have to step-over to go about their business. Libra, you are right, you didnt see the republicans carrying on like this in Boston. ooohh, you mean instead of camping out on the sidewalk and pumping up poster board signs they were actually devising a platform and a strategy? How despicable!!

No, the protesters believe in the right of the Republicans to have a convention. There were NO signs saying anything against the convention. They were against George Bush.

Ignore the biggest political demonstration in history....not likely.

No, there sure weren't many people protesting against Kerry in Boston
..

No, the protesters believe in the right of the Republicans to have a convention.

Yeah right. Just as long as they get enough media attention paid to THEM.

These supporters dont have a clue. They have no idea how to present their platform without making it a circus that no one will take seriously.

So? Uh, that's kind of the purpose of a demonstration......

"These supporters dont have a clue. They have no idea how to present their platform without making it a circus that no one will take seriously."
..

Again, Ignore the biggest political demonstration in history....not likely.
