Linda.. I think you may have misunderstood what I meant by saying...

I was referring to the idea of them using 9/11 as a backdrop for their convention. They wanted to use the memories of the attacks to further their agenda.
and I believe it is backfiring on them..
I sincerely hope president Bush will not take a photo-op by visiting the 9/11 site during the convention... Doc

Dr. D - No .. I did understand what you were saying initally. I just don't agree.
The attack occured there...under this President's administration. He's the one that took us to war against those who murdered our innocent people...didn't fight against our military..nor attack our military bases. Imo, he has all the right in the world to take GREAT pride in his actions following 9-11....and yes, by even mentioning it as part of his platform. After all he was the one that dealth with it. No shame in being proud of that.

President Bush not mentioning 911 and/or not making it a part of his campaign would be like if President Lincoln had not mentioned the civil war in any of his speeches.
