Actually: They are the nastiest people,the most self centered people,you will find anywhere on the face of the Earth!
They will lay into you at the first chance they get,It's their First Amendment Right and they sure use IT!

It's probably a good thing for most of the Republicans on this board that AW search isn't up & running anymore. Because by farthe majority of name-calling and hateful posts come from them.
The truth is that the vast majority of Republicans--and even neocons--are good people. It's just that a vocal minority give the rest a bad name.
As for convention arrests--anyone who can read a newspaperor news site knows that the police in NY are in trouble for illegally arresting & detaining hundreds of people who had done nothing wrong (many not even protestors), & that a judge released them.
Then you can compare the conventions themselves. The Democrats ran a positive convention. The Republicans,on the other hand, ran a convention that mostly centered on attacks on Kerry & contained little about themselves (because they had nothing to talk about)--not to mention the fact that they showcased moderates who by no means reflect the main stance of the party & in fact embrace things Bush & Co. are adamantly against. Kinda hypocritical, that.

everyone here knows my keyboard sticks  Sometimes I catch & correct it, sometimes I don't. Oneof these days I'll get motivated enough to buy a new one. But I have learned my lesson--I'm never cleaning under the keys again...but there was some unusual & interesting stuff under there...
