A previous thread was addressing what books everyone is currently reading. Might I recommend this one to all you liberals, and our profe, since she's one of his favorite gals.

It's called:

Talk to a Liberal (If You Must),

"Ann Coulter is unleashed and at her best. She has done more than just collect her best columns. She has updated, expanded and included columns too hot to print."

"For example:

The essence of being a liberal:

"The absolute conviction that there is one set of rules for you, and another, completely different set of rules for everyone else."
-----
John Kerry: "A reporter asked Kerry, 'Are you for or against gay marriage?'

As usual, his answer was, 'Yes.'"
--------------
Her 9/11 comments: "I am often asked if I still think we should invade their countries, kill their leaders, and convert them to Christianity.

The answer is: Now more than ever!"
--------------

The state of the Democratic Party:

"Teddy Kennedy crawls out of Boston Harbor with a quart of Scotch in one pocket and a pair of pantyhose in the other, and Democrats hail him as their party's spiritual leader."
---------

Her philosophy for arguing with liberals: "Tough love, except I don't love them. My 'tough love' approach is much like the Democrats' 'middle-class tax cuts' -- everything but the last word."
-----------

The "Treason Lobby":

"Want to make liberals angry?

[/b]Defend the United States[/b]."

-----

[Boy, could I identify with that one]

"Nothing too extreme can be said about Liberals...because it's all true." [Ann]

The More John Kerry Changes, The More He Stays The Same

September 8, 2004
Ann Coulter - her weekly column http://anncoulter.com

"There's been a lot of weeping and gnashing of teeth among the Democrats since Vice President Cheney said if the country makes the wrong choice on Election Day, "then the danger is that we'll get hit again and we'll be hit in a way that will be devastating from the standpoint of the United States." (I mean there is weeping among Democrats who aren't actually rooting for us to get hit again because "we deserve it!"

I believe this is one of those "issues" Democrats claim to be champing at the bit to discuss; in lieu of discussing the charges of the Swift Boat veterans. In fact, there is no more important issue in this election:

Which candidate will best protect America from terrorist attack? Hint: It's not the guy whose running mate (sounding so much like Sean Hayes from "Will and Grace" it was eerie) said their message to the terrorists was: "We will destroy youuuuuuu!"

Of course, it gets complicated trying to do a side-by-side comparison of the candidates' positions on terrorism since we don't know which John Kerry is running for president. The one who opposes war with Iraq or the one who supports it? The one who opposes the Patriot Act or the one who voted for it? The one who wants to work with the allies, or the one who ridicules them when they support America?

The only way Kerry's constantly changing positions on little matters like war would seem rational is if we found out he was using a Ouija board to determine his positions; much as he's using a crystal ball to predict when we should start removing U.S. troops from Iraq. Six months; whoops, no, four years. Stupid crystal balls; they never work!

Republicans have been having raucous fun trying to predict what Kerry's next policy shift will be. Education? AIDS? Pollution? Dang! He picked women's rights! OK, here's another dollar. Give me three more balls, please.

While waiting for the Ouija board to give us Kerry's final answer on the Iraq war, perhaps we could get an answer on something simpler; like whether or not Kerry owns an SUV.
During the Democratic primaries, Kerry went to Michigan and bragged to the Detroit News: "We have some SUVs. We have a Jeep. We have a couple of Chrysler minivans. We have a PT Cruiser up in Boston. I have an old Dodge 600 that I keep in the Senate. ... We also have a Chevy, a big Suburban." He was starting to sound like a used-car dealer in a giant cowboy hat peddling his wares in a cheesy, low-budget late-night TV commercial: "We got Jeeps, we got PT Cruisers, we got minivans, and they're priced to move, folks ..."

But a few months after Kerry won the Michigan primary in February, the feckless opportunist told a bunch of environmentalists: "I don't own an SUV." When pressed on the apparent contradiction, Kerry explained: "The family has it. I don't have it." We're still waiting for reaction from some group calling themselves "SUV Owners for the Truth."

As I recall, when it came to funding his campaign last January with a $6 million mortgage on the "family" home in Boston; owned by Kerry's billionaire wife; he was not so picky about what he owns and what she owns. Back then, Kerry had somewhat more liberal views on the notion of "community property"; or maybe that was just the pre-nup talking.

The "family" angle could also explain Kerry's positions on the wall in Israel: His wife supports it and he opposes it!

Speaking to an Arab group in Michigan in October 2003, Kerry called Israel's erection of a wall between Israeli and Palestinian areas "another barrier to peace."
But a few months later, Kerry got on the fence on the subject of the wall. Adding clarity to the subject, his campaign issued a memo in February, saying Kerry took the precise opposite position of his earlier position. The memo said: "John Kerry supports the construction of Israel's security fence to stop terrorists from entering Israel. The security fence is a legitimate act of self-defense ..."
So the wall was either (1) a barrier to peace or (2) a legitimate act of self-defense. The campaign then said Kerry had meant to say the real barrier to peace was Pink Floyd's "The Wall."

While Kerry works out his positions , apparently the voters have decided that their legitimate act of self-defense is to vote for Bush.

Libra - Please don't EVER believe ANYTHING cf says about me. She's been proven to be a liar in constantly making false statements about what I think, feel, and have said. Her credibility is in the toilet. She hasn't a clue what's she's talking about when she 'speaks' for me.....she's just obsessively fixated on me and it's all an effort to get ANY attention - even if it's only negative attention. Pretty sad really.

Then , again, for those who have a hard time with English...just READ Coulter's book and you will know what linda is like. SHE rcommended the book. Read before you shoot your mouth off.

And to you Linda, you seem to be fixated on me. You insist I'm a liar with no proof whatsoever.
I hate to shock you but you aren't the smartest person even if YOU think so. You just recommended a book by one of the most foul-mouthed, lying, slut I've ever heard and this opinion is a widely held one. The fact that YOU like her puts you on her level.

Again, posters, before judging, read the book or anything else by the charmimg Ann bearing in mind as you read that Linda approves of this "person".

Here's the kind of psycho crap linda supports:

"Here at the Spawn of Satan convention in Boston, conservatives are deploying a series of covert signals to identify one another, much like gay men do. My allies are the ones wearing crosses or American flags. The people sporting shirts emblazened with the "F-word" are my opponents. Also, as always, the pretty girls and cops are on my side, most of them barely able to conceal their eye-rolling.

Democrats are constantly suing and slandering police as violent, fascist racists -- with the exception of Boston's police, who'll be lauded as national heroes right up until the Democrats pack up and leave town on Friday, whereupon they'll revert to their natural state of being fascist, racist pigs.

A speaker at the Democratic National Convention this year, Al Sharpton, accused white police officers of raping and defacing Tawana Brawley in 1987, lunatic charges that eventually led to a defamation lawsuit against Sharpton and even more eventually, to Sharpton paying a jury award to the defamed plaintiff Steve Pagones. So it's a real mystery why cops wouldn't like Democrats.

As for the pretty girls, I can only guess that it's because liberal boys never try to make a move on you without the UN Security Council's approval. Plus, it's no fun riding around in those dinky little hybrid cars. My pretty-girl allies stick out like a sore thumb amongst the corn-fed, no make-up, natural fiber, no-bra needing, sandal-wearing, hirsute, somewhat fragrant hippie chick pie wagons they call "women" at the Democratic National Convention.

Apparently, the nuts at the Democratic National Convention are going to be put in cages outside the convention hall. Sadly, they won't be fighting to the death as is done in W.W.F. caged matches. They're calling this the "protestor's area," although I suppose a better name would be the "truth-free zone".

I thought this was a great idea until I realized the nut category did not include Sharpton, Al Gore, Bill Clinton, and Teddy Kennedy -- all featured speakers at the convention. I'd say the actual policy is only untelegenic nuts get the cages, but little Dennis Kucinich is speaking at the Convention, too. So it must be cages for nuts who have not run for president as serious candidates for the Democratic Party.

Looking at the line-up of speakers at the Convention, I have developed the 7-11 challenge: I will quit making fun of, for example, Dennis Kucinich, if he can prove he can run a 7-11 properly for 8 hours. We'll even let him have an hour or so of preparation before we open up. Within 8 hours, the money will be gone, the store will be empty, and he'll be explaining how three 11-year olds came in and asked for the money and he gave it to them.

Libra,

Oh, I understand now. It's OK to make negative statements about people, EXCEPT the ones you like, right? If not, what is your comment about?

Also, it's nice that you promote her wealth as a good thing, but seem to dislike the fact the Teresa Heinz Kerry is rich. Now why is that?

Also, you haven't established that I read her books. So with that in mind, you shouldn't tell me not to read them. You have to establish a behavior before you can ask a person not to participate in that behavior.

Did I say I liked her? Read it again.

Yeager are you looking for an argument today? If so not from me. I was just stating what I thought. But of course we can't have thoughts in this RT because it seems like when someone has one they are criticized.

"Ann Coulter-Just one woman's opinion. You have yours, which we hear a lot. She has her's and I have mine. If you don't like her books then the best thing is don't read them, it's as easy as that."

Evidently you read something different than I posted. Which we hear a lot refers to the Gay threads which you post to all the time and that's fine with me.

Well crowfarm sometimes you have a problem with writing english, Oops spelling I am so sorry.

I can comment on that because she criticizes me when I do something wrong.

I am sure we are all better looking than Ann Coulter but remember she is a lot wealthier than us. Beauty is only skin deep.

"Posters are criticizing her looks and it isn't looks that count it is what the person is inside. Someone can be the most gorgeous person on the outside and be a dim witt inside."

Also, it's nice that you promote her wealth as a good thing, but seem to dislike the fact the Teresa Heinz Kerry is rich. Now why is that?

"Because anytime I have seen Ann Coulter on Politically Incorrect she has been a lady. Always neatly dressed and doesn't shout and tell people to "Shove it". Heinz Kerry infers that people are idiots because I they are not in favor of JK's health plain, what ever it is. Another reason she is a democrat. If I was JK, and thankful I am not, I would be afraid of what she is going to say next". BTW check into what Heinz Kerry supports with all her money. It has been posted here a couple of times.

Also, you haven't established that I read her books. So with that in mind, you shouldn't tell me not to read them. You have to establish a behavior before you can ask a person not to participate in that behavior.

"But you commented on her book. Or at least made a nasty remark what the title should be. Isn't that a behavior? I have never addressed you so what's the problem. So you mean I can't answer a post because I haven't read her books.

Now it's Yeager and Crowfarm the King and Queen of the Round Table telling me what I can and can't do.

Do you see why I answered NO to the Can anyone change thread.

Libra says, ""Because anytime I have seen Ann Coulter on Politically Incorrect she has been a lady. Always neatly dressed and doesn't shout and tell people to "Shove it". Heinz Kerry infers that people are idiots "

Libra read my post with the quote from Annie which sytarts ""Here at the Spawn of Satan convention in Boston"

Now are you going to tell me with her foul mouth and brain YOU consider her a "lady"???

Theresa Kerry said "shove it" to a reporter who has been harrassing her specifically for years. She gave him a very appropriate reply.

How do YOU know Kerry "inferred" people were idiots....you have a habit of finding "inference" in posts which isn't there.
Do you really trust the words of someone because they dress neatly......Hitler was quite spiffy in his uniform.
Besides, Annie wears her skirts so short so it's easier and quicker to "get a story" in a taxi.

Nope, no comparison between Theresa and Ann. Ann's a stupid, nasty, slut and Theresa Kerry is a strong, intelligent, generous, successful, well-rounded, beautiful PERSON.

Here you go crowfarm the proof like you wanted.

Heinz Kerry: Opponents of health care plan are 'idiots'
The Associated Press

LANCASTER, Pa. - Teresa Heinz Kerry said Wednesday that "only an idiot" would fail to support her husband's health care plan.

"Of course, there are idiots," Heinz Kerry, the wife of Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry, told the (Lancaster) Intelligencer Journal for Thursday's editions.

Kerry's proposal includes health care subsidies for children, the unemployed, small companies and more; and government assistance to insurers and employers that keep premiums for workers down.

If Kerry is elected, Heinz Kerry predicted that opponents of his health care plan would be voted out of office. "Only an idiot wouldn't like this," she said.

Heinz Kerry stumped in Lancaster, Harrisburg and York on Wednesday, the third day of a four-day campaign swing Pennsylvania.

"I don't have to sell it - the people want it," Heinz Kerry said of the health plan. "The common man doesn't look at me as some rich witch. I talk about what I see. It has always been so. You judge people not by their pocketbook but by their actions. Walk the walk." But she sure can talk the talk.

Ann Coultier is not married to the man running for president.

Check out the Tides Foundation before you say anything. and you will see what Heinz Kerry contributes a lot of her money too, maybe you will change your mind. Maybe she gives a pittance to what she says about children but to the Tides Foundation she gives millions

""Do you really trust the words of someone because they dress neatly......Hitler was quite spiffy in his uniform."""
