HALIFAX, CANADA -- Nova Scotia became the sixth province to allow gay marriages when the provincial Supreme Court ruled Friday that banning such unions was unconstitutional.
In August, three couples asked Justice Heather Robertson to rule on that issue and whether Nova Scotia should recognize gay marriages performed outside the province.
British Columbia, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec and the Yukon allow gay marriages. Saskatchewan's high court is expected to rule next week.
Prime Minister Paul Martin's Liberal government has vowed to make it legal across Canada after the Supreme Court rules on the issue. It begins reviewing the matter next month.

Why would I move, I am quite happy here in the US, where we have only one state that allows marriage abominations... and that too will be fixed in the future.
I am proud that America is telling the homosexuals we don't want you married here, it is not something you are going to do here.

And yes, I stand corrected. I don't believe there's a liberal here...nor a illiberal who would be willing to defend this country. They'd either run to Canada....which a Canadian here has said how welcome our deserters were....or they'd surrender to our enemies...or they'd be like Spain and to exactly what the terrorists want our of pure fear.

I am glad someone else pointed out the irony in Linda's statement "I'm going to end my participation in this thread with this very long post."
I was going to bring that up as well but was still hoping to get a reply to her statement of what was so offensive in San Francisco. From her lack of reponse it could not have been offensive at all, otherwise she would have answered it. I have already caught Colin in a lie earlier when he complained all the gay shows on TV were offenseive and promoting the "gay agenda". It looks like I caught Linda in another lie.
Then she also didn't like the fact I made assumptions about her, but I guess she is free to make assumptions about other people as well as sterotypes. What comes around goes around is my philosophy.
