Your gall just slays me kiara.

Let's be real clear here...UNTIL such time that you purchase Vendio....I'll post however I wish, wherever I wish and laugh at what I find funny.

YOU can do whatever YOU wish to do. But you won't be instructing me on what you think I should do.

And some nerve you have....you call him pricklane....pricklame...etc. And then you get upset with how HE talks? Now that's funny.

------

Linda_k, if you find humor in parklane's continuous posts about the functions of certain body parts and orifices that's fine. Perhaps both of you could start a new thread topic about it and discuss it in depth and keep that kind of humor between yourselves and any other neocons that seem to relish in it.

Since you enjoy the dirty talk, Linda_K I will amuse you with more.

I never addressed parklane until he attacked me with this:

You so resemble a bodily orifice that is mostly used for the elimination of waste.

He also made mention of a flaccid penis so you figure it out.

Like I suggested, start your own topic about body waste and wallow in it.

kiara - You and helen both have this need to constantly tell others what they should do or shouldn't do. You're both just SO controlling.

YOU take care of yourself and your own posts....because NO other adult here is going to do what you tell them you think they should do anyway.

You're just wasting your breath....again.

LOL I just read this Bush/Cheney ad...so that's what you're all so upset about....it speaks the truth.

kerry DID vote to decrease funding to our intelligence agencies....right after the first WTC bombing. Show's him for lacking any common sense on just WHEN we need to INCREASE our intelligence.

Now he's whining about how he was LIED to... Can't have it both ways....vote to decrease funding for intelligence.

So that's what this really is about....not the wolves after all. Just for showing how he's totally unqualified to be CIC.

Lindak, I was referring to wolves being equated with terrorists and fear. You missed the whole point of my post. DUH

kiara - You and helen both have this need to constantly tell others what they should do or shouldn't do. You're both just SO controlling.

Helen and I are intelligent adults that are willing to discuss or learn about almost any topic.

You are a mean, bitter old lady that gets off on topics about killing and body waste. Bet you loved the stories about the wolf killings. I see while I was gone today you managed to google a whole whack of them.

Al-Qaeda remains a threat to America because of the inept and inadequate Bush response to it.

Mean spirited? Once again...this HUGE double standard exists. Appears it's only okay from the left who appears to have absolutely NO sense of humor and takes things the wrong way most of the time, but is all that comes from the lefties is excused somehow. Hypocrisy at it's finest.

I'll assume you're speaking to me Linda, since I'm the one who used the term "mean spirited". There is no double standard, at least as far as I'm concerned. If you'll recall, I've commented in the past on yeager, crowfarm, maggie's and others nastiness.

What part of calling somebody a "dumas", an idiot, or suggesting that they have their head up their ass do you consider humorous?

I see a great deal of hypocrisy in calling somebody mean names and then invoking the supposed words of Jesus.

By the way Linda, from your first link about wolf attacks, let me quote:

Unprovoked attacks by non-rabid wolves on people are very rare, and the vast majority of wolves do not regard people as being prey. However, we have found a number of incidents where predatory attacks have occurred. In Europe, the largest numbers of records come from pre 20th century France, Estonia and northern Italy, where historians have looked systematically for records of such events. The most famous event is from the Gevaudan area in France where historical records indicate that over 100 people were killed in the period 1764-1767. The wolves responsible were believed to be hybrids between wild wolves and large shepherd dogs. From these three regions several hundred people appear to have been killed from 1750 until 1900.

As you can see, you can hardly justify Bush's use of wolves as some great evil with the pitifully slim evidence for their being a danger to humans. They just really aren't, unless provoked, cornered, inbred with dogs, or infected with rabies. Nice try.

I just saw the new ad where the Bush campaign is using images of wolves..

Good analysis by Josh Marshall

In some ways actually, the piece typifies the administration. The entire ad is built around an entirely intentional and fairly transparent attempt to deceive viewers.

The centerpiece of the ad is the claim that "even after the first terrorist attack on America," John Kerry tried to gut spending on intelligence.

Everything about the statement and the context is meant to communicate the impression that they mean after 9/11. But they don't. They mean after the World Trade Center bombing in 1993. And even the alleged cuts they're talking about are basically a lie too, for reasons you can see here.

That really does capture the whole Bush administration right there: trying to scare people by tricking them into believing something they know isn't true.

Neroter12, Canada receives hundreds of television stations from the US. Their igloos are well-equipped.

There are thousands of US citizens presently living in Canada that will be voting in this election. On the days when I am on the American side of the border I can view television from there also.

Between 400,000 and 600,000 Americans living in Canada are eligible to vote in the November U.S. presidential election. At the top end of the estimates, that's more than the number of voters now living in the states of North Dakota, Wyoming or Vermont.

profe - [i]I'll assume you're speaking to me Linda, since I'm the one who used the term "mean spirited"[/b].

No I was really making a very general statement, profe. Because the one's who complain the most, kiara included, are usually the one that starts it in the first place. But all are calling each other names...then trying to act so innocent and so very offended. It's laughable.

There is no double standard, at least as far as I'm concerned. If you'll recall, I've commented in the past on yeager, crowfarm, maggie's and others nastiness. There's no need to remind me, I'm fully aware of who stirs up the sh1t and then complains and who doesn't.

What part of calling somebody a "dumas", an idiot, or suggesting that they have their head up their ass do you consider humorous? Other than that being an accusation from kiara, and ONLY KIARA, want to show me just where YOU believe I've done that?

I see a great deal of hypocrisy in calling somebody mean names and then invoking the supposed words of Jesus. It's a Bible chapter and verse. And he's just as free to say what he wants as are all the other dems that post their crap and then fault others for not being tolerant. It's hyprocrisy.

And on the wolf attacks and killings.... very funny that you didn't choose to speak about any from more recent times. A google search is real easy...and I didn't want to post thousands of sites....figured what I did post proved my point...there have been wolf attacks and people have died from them.

OOOOooooo.......let's all bow down and worship linda! She can google the truth about anything.
What would we all do without her to set us straight and educate us!!!!????????

About REALLY important things, too, like how to correctly pronounce Theresa Kerry's name.

I think every once in awhile we should scratch her behind the ears, agree with her, and let her drool in the ecstasy of thinking she's convinced us she's right. It would be an act of kindness to someone who now hears voices..

Lindak, I seldom call anyone names so don't drag me in your muck. Whenever anyone is offended by parklane's rude posts you are the first one to say that you find them humorous and you defend him and egg him on. Your kind of humor........ so start your own thread about it and wallow in it.

You have missed the whole point of this thread....... perfect ostrich syndrome.

She's heard voices and tones for a long time now, crow. That's why I preface some of my posts saying I'm talking in a quiet, calm voice because all she must hear is her own screaming rage and transfers it to others.

I wasn't accusing you of doing it. My initial post was to parklane. He has yet to respond. My statement was directed at the names parklane has called people here. A careful reading of both of my posts should make that clear. You indicated that for some reason there was a misunderstanding of "humorous" comments. I merely asked you what you found humorous about those particular comments. Well??

I see a great deal of hypocrisy in calling somebody mean names and then invoking the supposed words of Jesus. It's a Bible chapter and verse. And he's just as free to say what he wants as are all the other dems that post their crap and then fault others for not being tolerant. It's hyprocrisy.

I'm not faulting anybody for being intolerant. Intolerance is apparently what powers this board. Hypocrisy is another matter. Invoking the words of Jesus after telling somebody they have their head up their ass is the definition of Hypocrisy as far as I'm concerned.

I have no doubt in my mind that canada pipes in more US TV stations their own culture ....however, that said, who cares if there are 600,000 votes out there - unless they can add a drop in the bucket towards the electorial college, they may as well stay home in bed, like thousands of Americans, too. See, the campaigns are kind of on to this little thing about the electorial college. They pretty much have it down about where their advertizing is being targeted for it.
