Now I beg to differ with you about different ID's in Vendio. I have two seller ID's and one day I was uploading pictures to my 2nd account when I went in and read the EO. I answered a question and that was under my 2nd ID. I can post under two different ID's so it is possible.
Libra63, you asked me to prove it. Shall I continue? No, I'm not the owner of the board but I just figure if someone has something nasty to say why hide under another ID to do it?
I'm not saying don't do it or that you can't do it but I think it's cowardly.

She says, "As for 9-11 at least Bush did something. "
DUH! For the first 6 months of his administration he ignored his daily briefings that warned of the possibility of terrorist attacks.... he spent 46% of this time on vacation......ya, he did something....he gave a speech after the fact...wow, what a guy!

I don't have two different ID's I dumped my second one a while ago because I didn't want any extra charges. I have only one eBay ID also so there. Again you have proved that you keep every thread so that you can go back and prove people wrong. I do not have a second ID. Write Vendio and ask them.

I don't like snitches regardless of the number of ID's that they may have. There are some fantastic people with a number of ID's who never use those alternate ID's to abuse other posters.

BTW she deserved it. Maybe not in your eyes but in mine and all the others in the EO.

Libra63, you can lie and try to backtrack all you want but I'm not the fool you think I am.
It's hypocritical for anyone to be all high and mighty and criticize others for being nasty when they have done the same thing themselves or worse yet, hid under another ID to do it.
I have no respect for those who play victim and tattle or threaten to tattle when things don’t go their way.
BTW she deserved it. Maybe not in your eyes but in mine and all the others in the EO.
All the others? Please don’t speak for me about what I think people deserve.

Back to the question at hand.
I think a big reason that Bush won was the Mainstream Media and their "attempted" manipulations. I was absolutely convinced that Kerry was going to win this election as I think alot of other people were but when the media tried to pull their last punches against Bush it just ticked a lot of people off who wouldn't have voted otherwise and that is really where the out polling "moral values" answer comes from.
Back until I get sick of typing again,

Hi there, Calamity!
It's a mystery to me. With just 100,000 additional votes from Ohio, Kerry could have won!

That's right Twelvepole, I did do that, however, I allready stated that I have no definative, actual, hard evidence to prove it and so I dropped the matter alltogether.
I will say this though that there are others that have 2 ID's and haven't hidden that fact and I consider it commendable to admit it. One that comes to mind is Rustygumbo who admitted that he was/is also Shagmidmod or something like that and posted with his other ID accidentally and I see absolutely nothing wrong with that.
There are posters that I know of that post under more than one ID but I won't rat them out to everyone here, or to Vendio if that means anything to anyone. It's better that they should have the opportunity to come clean on thier own.

Rusty explained that he was using the second ID while working with his inventory. As you know, yellowstone, many people have different ID's for business use.

From the New York Post...
BILL: WHY BUSH WON
By LOIS WEISS
November 6, 2004 -- Former President Bill Clinton, in his first comments on President Bush's re-election, yesterday urged Democrats not to "whine" about the outcome, but to find a "clear national message."
Clinton also said that Democrat John Kerry was hurt by the polarizing issue of gay marriage, which was legalized by Massachusetts' top court and put on the ballot in 11 states, and the surfacing of a tape from Osama bin Laden in the final days of the race.
Reminded of terrorism by the bin Laden tape, voters decided they didn't want to "change horses" during a time of heightened concern over national security, Clinton said in a speech to the Urban Land Institute at the New York Hilton.
Clinton said Hispanic voters tilted to Bush because of terrorism fears, as did suburban "soccer moms," who Clinton said turned into "the security moms of 2004."
He also said that while Democrats registered more new voters than Republicans, the Bush campaign did a better job of getting voters to the polls who were already registered but had not previously voted.
Despite the GOP victory, the former president — whose wife Hillary is already being mentioned as the top contender for the White House in 2008 — said Democrats "shouldn't be all that discouraged" by Kerry's defeat.
Clinton said it would be "a mistake for our party to sit around and . . . whine about this and that or the other thing."
Clinton attributed Kerry's loss to the Democrats' failure to combat how they were portrayed by Republicans to small-town America.
"If we let people believe that our party doesn't believe in faith and family, doesn't believe in work and freedom, that's our fault," he said.
Democrats "need a clear national message, and they have to do this without one big advantage the Republicans have, which is they won't have a theological message that basically paints the other guy as evil," he said.
Clinton said the country was more divided than it was in 1968 and called for an end to the "culture war."
In his hourlong speech Clinton, who had open-heart surgery in September, gave Bush and the Republicans full credit for the election victory.
"The Republicans had a clear message, a good messenger, great organization and great strategy," he said.
Clinton said Bush should use his second term to move toward less dependence on foreign oil.
"This election presents a great opportunity for President Bush and a great opportunity for Democrats, and the two are not necessarily in conflict," he said.
The biggest opportunity he noted was the prospect of an Israeli-Palestinian peace amid the impending demise of Yasser Arafat.
Peace in the region would "take enormous steam" out of Islamic fundamentalist terrorism worldwide, Clinton said. "They would have to think of a new excuse to murder people."

Helen - I had read prof's post, and think it is excellent.
I posted the article above because a) I was impressed with Clinton's comments; b) Clinton made some extremely valid points; c) it fit with the topic of this thread, moreso than who has what or how many posting id's.
grammatical edit

Waving hi to wgm...good to 'see' you again too.
-----------------
clinton also had recommend kerry take the gay marriage issue and oppose it more, rather than trying to avoid the issue as much as possible. kerry didn't take his recommendation, obviously.
