Concentrate and follow the thread, kraft. Helen and I were discussing the CNN show, not what realplay said.

Free thinking seems to upset some because the person that is a free thinker doesn't fit into the mold that they think everyone should be. Some would rather have Big Brother tell them how to think and what to believe in ...... much easier to get through their day that way.
Do you ever notice those that question things the most here....... aka 'free thinkers'..... are the ones that the Bushies are so quick to put down and call immoral, hateful, etc?

Lalalibra says, " He says one thing and does another. Day after day we heard that. He was the one that voted against armour for the soldiers, but he voted for the war. ""
Now, Edith, go and look up DICK cheney's voting record....DUH, he voted the SAME WAY!

kiara,
Very good point. I am a free thinker. I don't need anyone to think for me. That is not to say that I have never asked for advise from a person. Everyone could use advice from others at some time in their life. However to follow the course of others just because that's what they are doing, it's not going to happen with me.
I own me, and I control my thoughts. I don't need a book or any spirit of a dead person telling what to do either.
What would people think of me if I told them that before my great grandmother died in 1952, she wrote a book of rules for me to follow. This book outlined everything that I was should and shouldn't do. What if I quoted from my great grandmother's book everyday, and read it every day. What if I carried this book of rules with me all the time. When people asked me why I relied on this book, I could tell them the rules are that I must follow it.
Wouldn't people think that I be considered a nutcase for doing this? I think that they would, and have every right to do so too.
Bigots are miserable people. Prevent Bigotry through Education.

Oh Helen,
Thanks for the link to the CNN transcript on the fight over faith show. In another thread, linda k accused me of slanting my quotes from this show when I posted the whacked up bible thumping family.
No I didn't yeager....I said NO such thing. It's all a figment of your own imagination AGAIN.
And, what was your statement about YOUR name being mentioned in a thread you had yet to post in? LOL But yet you do the same with mine? typical mixed up liberal.

Oh GAWD! The queen of "I Gotta Be Right or Die Trying" is back.
But, on a lighter note:
Dear braindead libra says, "crowfarm in case you don't know or haven't looked lately Dick Cheney isn't President. Or either is John Kerry. Get your facts straight before you post."""
Where, oh, senior wizard, did I say that?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
Besides Libra, lack of facts has NEVER stopped YOU from posting....don't tell me what I can post!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well crowfarm again you are WRONG. I was the one talking about John Kerry, remember the democratic candidate that did not win his presidential bid. He did not vote for armour but he voted for the war. You came back with the stupid statement have you looked at Dick Cheney's voting record. I said Dick Cheney did not run for president.
I was talking about the candidate John Kerry running for president. Did Dick Cheney run for president? NO... You are comparing to apples to oranges.
Again you open your mouth and insert your foot. Evidently you have a problem with reading comprehension.
Something has happened with Vendio and their ignore button because I had you on Ignore and now you are back. The stupid atheist from Minnesota. Crawl back into your hole as I will not answer another post of yours. You do not contribute anything to this discussion board that I find helpful, and according to other posters they think this also.

libra, you KEEP saying you have me on ignore and you haven't ignored a post of mine yet! The ignore button has something wrong with it? Ya, YOU! You COULD just ignore my posts, you old goat.
I NEVER said DICK cheney was running for president.
The comparison, oh senile queen, was voting records. Just trying to show you(how hopeless!) that THIS administration's people have voted against funding TOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Lack of reading comprehension ???
NO, YOU have lack of any comprehension. How you actually are able to dress yourself is BEYOND comprehension .

No sweat, kraft. Figured there's something you've got to tell me, but perhaps in your urgent desire to do so the anxiousness got the better of your concentration of the thread?
-But I'm sure I'll lay something else out for ya and you'll get to it. You are after all, ze krafty one!

Was supposed to snow at home when I left, the day before Thanksgiving ....so I'm taking advantage of the warm weather here for a couple of weeks and will be playing while they're at work.

Or do you it while getting lap dances knwoing that is all you will get. Unless you have tried it you will never know how good it feels. But then again you can Classiccock can try it out sometime since Classic knows how to turn on a man since he did it on shore leave from the Navy all the time while he visited San Francisco.

Thanks for educating me on the meaning of this. I thought it stood for Stupid White Male, #*!@ Owner.
Q. What's the difference between the Vietnam War and the Iraq War?
A. George W. Bush had a plan to get out of the Vietnam War.

Dad-as you know this wasnt on purpose.I didnt know alot as I just turned 20, but being a Vietnam Vet, I thought I knew it all.Walking around San Fransisco with that skin tight Navy Blue Gaberdine uniform with my Navy medals for National Defense,Vietnamese Service Ribbon and Cocktail Courage, probably wasnt the wisest choice I ever made.Being that I have such a great ass probably didnt help either, but what was I supposed to do..leave it back at the base????

They give a medal or a ribbon for this? I wonder what is involved in order to get this ribbon. Given you strutted your ass in SF it leaves me know doubt why you got this medal/ribbon

well dad, contrary to what you think, the truth of the matter is-everytime we would pull into a port, the first place we would head to was "sh*it street"-thats a term we used, because they only thing there was whore houses and bars and nothing else.So after being at sea for a month or two we would go into town and do our thing.Alot of times we would come out of the place intoxicated to relieve the stress and what not.All the bars I was in-Japan,the Phillipines,Indonesia and Thialand, I never got intoxicated once. I just knew when I had enough and thats where the Cocktail Courage comes in-to go into a bar knowing that you maybe out at sea for over a month, sometimes two and see nothing but water and not get a load on.HEY! that aint easy.
