Isn't it wonderful what the power of words will do...

Mention one word and people think the worst... mention another and people think the best...

It is funny to watch a message board when someone uses certain words... especially when there is a certain level of animosity between the posters...

I love it when people jump to conclusions without even asking either person what they mean... that is what makes a message board humorous... but then is this really a "message" board?

I haven't seen any real messages for discussion in quite sometime, those that are of the non Iraqi nature or political nature seem to sink to the bottom quickly, I know that means there was little interest in the subject matter, however the posts that stay at the top seem to also not be on the subject matter but at one poster or another... is that what makes a great message board?

I am as guilty of this as anyone, but why is that? Me... I am person of violence and believes violence will solve almost anything... however I know there are those here that are not of that nature, but seem to follow that path of least resistance... those that should of been leading the discussions, have themselves been lead...

Anyway, I love words and the power they contain...

Isn't it also amusing how someone can come into an innocuous thread and use nothing but vulgarity.... wonder what makes them who they think they are... especially when they claim to be part of our senior society... does using such vulgarity on a message board make them feel better about themselves? are they lacking in self esteem and need to reflect onto others their feelings about themselves...

Twelvepole,

The impact of words depends on many variables...for example, the reliability or character of the speaker or writer.

No, tadpole, I'm just sick of hearing you try to blow hard on this board... there may have been a time on here when you were able to scare the little girls here to death with your big bad mouth.... but, you are nothing but a big bag full of noxious gas, your foul stink may linger for a minute or two.. but like most bad odors..you soon fade.

You big tough talker, who loves to threaten and run to Vendio with tattle tales... sissy boy..poor excuse for a man.. go change your panties you little girl.. you have peed in them again I see...and clean up that puddle that you left on the floor..If I was there, I'd wipe your nose in it!! LOL

Addressing twelvepole, Addressing twelvepole!

You're hilarious, twelvsey. you're the most vulgar piece of crap in here and you're preaching about vulgarity!

""""" guess you didn't catch the hint when I was telling your asssucking partner maggienuthins... I despise your ass"""""

And this is one of your milder ones.

Methinks someone forgot to change their ID before posting again.

And, stupid, in mainstream America, vulgarity is considered less of a flaw than violence....if you're so tough and violent why aren't you in Iraq?

Ahh the vulgarities must continue...lacking in intelligence and self esteem must run rampant, trying to project how the men in thier lives must act around them, it must be hard when they meet a man that doesn't fit that mold.
I do understand that as you do reach a certain age that being able to control your bladder is a difficult thing, something over 60 years of age I believe it can begin... must be horrible for those with that affliction... but there are adult diapers, which I am sure some posters are very well aquainted with.

People talk of relaiablility and character behind the words, who is the judge of that? Who really knows what character lies with the person writing the words, is the person stating those words any more of character than anyone else... I think not. As far as reliability on a message board, that would be hard to take, because then you would have to trust someone's written word... without knowing the person in the flesh, who now would be so gullible as to do that?

Then you have those on the board that believe the only violence in the world is in Iraq here and now, forgetting that the US has had violent confrontations throughout history and where some have gone before, those who lack any experience in those matters seem stuck to repeating the same thing over and over...

Tis a shame to see those people who, must be scary in their minds, feeling threatened at any statement made against them, it to is a pity that they cannot listen to reason and will now pay the price for their inpertinence...

The words of an insulting nature are quite common here, I wonder if the person using them actually thinks they are doing anything more than showing what a lowbrow mentality they actually have; deep down inside we all go to our base, our safety area when confronted with something that is beyond the scope of our reasoning.

Words the manipulation of the unintelligent... those that can actually be led, responding to words they know that cannot hurt them in the real...but the subconscious must be providing some basic fear that comes to the surface at time of flight or fight.

Do any of you know what he's talking about?

Something about how he is stuck on repeating the same stuff over and over and how he pretends to be violent but realizes now that some of us on this board know so much more than him and don't cower under his threats and how he wants to see our flesh and something about how he pays the price each time he is impertinent or did he mean incontinent?

I agree it sounds like he's sharing the eggnog.

edited for spelling.

ahh as I previously posted, words, not on the subject matter at hand, but the need to focus on the poster of a thread, this is what this message board is all about, not about the swapping of ideas or fears, but the place to take our words and do battle with others at places that would never be acceptable in polite society.
To construe ideas that are false in nature and then some speak of character and reliability... that becomes amusing in itslef....

Then we have those who think they know words, but in reality have shown very little ability in the use of them, when they are led so easily down a path they claim not to be apart of, yet they come willingly.

is it possible that some can actually use words in getting those easily manipulated to follow are a curse to a message board? The art of writing was supposed to be alive in this day and age, not the use of others words, however when others words are needed to provide substance to a post, it should be welcomed and not scornd as long as the proper credit is given.
Are one's own thoughts and writings to be discounted because those questioning the subject matter really do not have a grasp of it and therefore is using once again their flight or fight base...

Helen, linduh and twelve share more than eggnog and I'm not talking about brain power.

once again those that are not intellectual must continue to address not the subject matter but a poster, is this a lack of intelligence or just confronting fear? It appears that when someone can use words, those that cannot flock to them, is it to be an educational experience or as often it turns out the one that can use the power of words leads them down the path of vulgarities and attacks at each other, bring their base out in the open for all to see.

Words need not be spelled correctly for the essence to be expressed, for those wanting correctly spelled words, need but purchase a spell checker or as is the custom of some of the less intelligent attack a poster with such a diatribe is definately going to one's base nature. Unable to grasp the subject matter at hand...
