Linda, Bunnicula, I know Twelvepole sorta manifestoed (dang him!) and what happened to Reamond? (I probably missed some of your names)

I don't get on here much at all, but I miss a lot of the people that used to post so much, even if I don't agree with them

Right, Maggie..."tis the season"

Hi, Nearthesea.

I suppose you survived your "smoke free" Thanksgiving??? LoL

Now, be careful with Christmas...and hang your stockings with care.

(Atlanta-AP) Dec. 10, 2004 - In its first study of seasonal spills the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says about 5800 people end up in US emergency rooms each holiday season because of decorating injuries. The most serious came from falling off roofs and ladders while hanging or taking down Christmas lights.

LOL, yeah survived the 'smoke free' Thanksgiving.. Mike just wasn't present a lot, as he was puffing outside

The shower was good, had like 40 women here, ok it wasn't good for me! But the kid having the kid got EVERYTHING!

We've been working and shopping and thats all! We have yet to decorate. I just bought a ton of candles today at a candle outlet. I love candles, but I will be careful, with those and the stockings!

crowfarm, I sincerly do not think that Linda and Twelvepole are one in the same.. wait, just remembered, I think Linda is in CA for the holidays..
Well hope everyone is having fun!

I heard that reamond moved to Cuba and bigpeepa moved to North Korea. Austbounty passed away while serving as a human shield for Saddam Hussien.

Hi, NTS, glad to hear Thanksgiving went okay and your visitors have returned home.

I think Prof's company must still be there. I haven't seen him on here lately.

Nah, I'm around. Just not commenting much. My company left Sunday after TG. If they don't go quick, I put them to work. There's always a pen to muck out or a hide to scrape around here

From Vendio...yesterday.

1. Peter Max was called the most famous artist of the 20th century.

2. Bear's level of art appreciation was illustrated by his posting of a fat naked Santa Claus along with a vile message.

3. According to one poster there is apparently no need for health care reform since in his neighborhood, health care is completely free.

4. Twelvepole was reincarnated.

5. Pictures of talking apes and pigs are posted blabbering about liberals with nasty messages.

6. And , it had to happen...Lol.....On the political front - the most incredible thought. Clinton has been blamed for the lack of armored vehicles in the Bush invasion of Iraq.

7. Neroter calls dummies "smart" but Kiara and Fenix who really are smart are badgered again with more manic gobbledygook.

Is it any wonder that some posters are missing or don't post here very often???

A little off topic but what the hell.

This is a cute little story about a good teacher.

"I started out at the Grace Church School which, while private and quite tiny, was

also a school of the old school along Episcopal lines derived from the harsh

discipline of merrie olde England. For high school, though, I went to Dalton

which, except for the rather large quantities of cocaine being used by the student

body, was a pretty touchy-feely, new-agey place along the lines Phoebe

describes. Hence, my physics class story, derived not from 11th grade but from

12th. As Phoebe says, "if a student cried 'I don't get it!' . . . everything would be

OK." Except one day when it wasn't. "I don't get it!" a student yelped. So the

teacher tried to explain again. Still not gotten. Another attempt at explanation.

Still didn't get it. Then the teacher slumps into his chair, puts his head on the

desk, and remains silent for a good little while."

It becomes apparent that he has started to -- yes -- cry softly and mutters, "I feel

like I'm really failing here as a teacher. You're all smart kids, and if you don't get

it, then I'm obviously not doing my job right. I just . . . don't get it." He then slowly

moved out of the room, not to be seen again until two days later when we next

had class. We never spoke of the incident again, but no one ever complained

that they didn't get it anymore.

Lol, Profe...That is a good story about learning self reliance, I think. The tuition for that high school in New York City is about 25,000 a year.

On the other topic... I suspect that twelvepole and stonecold may be the same. Kiara doesn't agree so I could be wrong.

There are several other ID's that in my opinion are questionable right now. I base my opinion on their comments of course but it's also interesting to observe the similar word usage, phrases, punctuation etc. and how they react to other posters and to each other. Good trolls can come up with different styles of posting but it takes a real pro to stay consistent.

I am replaymedia and no one else, and have been replaymedia for years.

I do have a second Vendio ID that I've posted under a couple of times by accident, but even then, the other name is very similar to this one.

And I'm kinda ticked off that twelvepole didn't have any parting words for me in his going away post. I usually agreed with him!

Wow, Maggie, where did that attack come from? I read and re-read Helen's posts and didn't see a comment where yours was warranted. Or, am I missing something here besides half my brain?

I was just teasing with the remark about Peter Max and the smiley face was put there to make that perfectly clear. I know that you weren't serious when you said that he was the most famous artist of the twentieth century. You didn't call out the calvary when Replay questioned that...

Should I be sorry that I considered Bear's christmas card to you and crowfarm a little tacky? NO, I should not.

I'm not uppity...just very straightforward and that's the way I will always be...sweetpea. My comment was right on target and that target was not aimed at you.
