Glad I can add some humor to your life, maggie.
Like I feel when I see you all complaining that people are chosing themselves how to spend their own funds....and it just pisses the left off to no end. Their money...their choice. I appreciate the fact that we still live in freedom from the ultra left and their 'socialist' ideas.

Interesting, Maggie, how linduh sees herself as a mutha figure....isn't that like a Napoleanic complex or something....people are all below her and she rules.....if the "little" people bring up a valid point she just pretends it's not there because she is over them. Well, ya gotta admit, she sure has a good way to avoid the truth.

I don't think I'm above anyone else....but I am better than many here at being civil...that's a fact. I just happen to be in the MAJORITY of American's who re-elected this President. That's what you don't like.

Well bunni....the biggest drop in postings I noticed was immediately following this President being re-elected. Guess that's just too hard for some to accept. Not to much to do now except complain about everything he does.
No, the number of people posting here has been dropping for a long time. And since people have been complaining about Bush since 2000, his re-election had little to do with the phenomenon. And since Bush hasn't & is unlikely to go through a major change in any category since his re-election, the complaints are unlikely to stop anytime before 2008.
But I would never believe you would support a poster like crowfarm who you KNOW lies continually just because you two are against the positions of those here on the right. Sad day for me it that's true. His/her nastiness has been nothing but extreme here and for you to say it's the 'right's' postings is something I surely won't ever understand. It's not the individuals positions....it's the way they can't be civil in disagreement.
Frankly, I can't see that Crowfarm lies any more than any other poster here. Especially when you consider that it is some of the NeoCons on the board who consistently post misleading--or downright false--articles here.
Is Crowfarm belligerent and does she call names? Yes, she does. But usually towards those who are doing the same or worse to her. I have seen some incredibly foul things posted about her--but you don't seem to castigate those who post those things, Linda.

Well, little linduh gets the gold star for being "civil".
Now under MY definition of civil, people who advocate, and support other advocates, of torture, are NOT civil. But, linduh obviously has very skewed standards.
Oh, linduh, you haven't addressed my posts in other threads....and I was being so civil! But, of course, I posted something you didn't like so instead of facing the truth you'll develop..what...sore ribs again..?????????

I have always given you my utmost respect...but when you can read what crowfarm has said to me personally....and in regards to my son...and believe it's 'fair' because others have done the same....then I guess I've been giving you too much credit for being fair.
You were the one who posted the thread where crowfarm's lies were proven to be lies. You and KD acknowledged that I hadn't said what he/she stated I had. But that's alright now according to your sense of justice.
How very disappointing that is to read.

Of course....one would never expect that from someone like you...but I have always held bunni and KD in high regard because while they rarely agree with anything I post....they are imo, honest and fair people.

The reason people are leaving the RT is because it is mean and nasty down here. There I said it again and I mean that. It has also been echoed in the EO so I am not in the minority. I don't care what anyone says it is mean and nasty down here.
Criticism is riding high and when someone posts an interesting thread it always turns hurtful or gross. i.e. Cheryl's thread, which if you notice she hasn't come back.

You approved of torture then and you continue to do so now. You support bush, rummysfeld, and Gonzales who ALL approve of torture.
And as to what I said about your son is only following a logical conclusion...if you think torture is fine...then it must be fine for everyone..........OR, do you, as ruler of the world get to decide who's tortured and who isn't ?

I didn't say nastiness--on anyone's part was "alright", Linda. Nor did I say that Crow has never been nasty. But she is certainly not the nastiest person on this board. And I also think that when someone is constantly attacked, called names and had vicious allegations made about them by several other posters that even if it is not alright, it is certainly understandable when they retaliate in kind. Human nature.
My sense of justice as you call it works in more than one direction, and wrong is wrong no matter what ideological leaning it comes from. If you can only respect me when I am agreeing with you, then I am disappointed in that.
