You're my favorite poster at AW

Are you kidding me, twinsoft? I thought you were just about ready to put me on "ignore"!

Ignore you? No way. Just because we disagreed on a particular topic?

Really, every time I come to AW I hope to see your posts. I think you are very intelligent and your posts are well-thought out. I appreciate your taking the time to post though I know it must be difficult for you.

HCQ, I knew that you had some medical issues, but I had no idea how severe they were. I'm so very sorry to hear what you have to go through everyday!

I'm going through something similar (though I'm not in nearly as much pain as you are by the sounds of it) with a large commercial insurance carrier. Their insured ran a red light while going 45 mph (this was a 48' tractor trailer mind you) and t-boned the car that I was driving. This happened in April of 99 and I've had all of my impairment ratings from my ortho docs and neurologists since June of this year. My attorney sent my demand packet in immediately upon receiving the final reports from the doctors and just this week I got my first offer from the insurance company. They offered me a pitiful amount of $7,500 for ONE of my injuries and won't make an offer on the rest until I've seen THEIR neurologist. Nevermind that I've been treating with one of the most reputable neurologists in my area and that every one of his prognosis' is based on MRI's, cat scans, blood tests, etc. Nevermind that they should haver requested this of me 5 months ago when they received my demand packet! Heck, they had no problem sending me to their Ortho doctor, whose opinion was much stronger than my own ortho surgeon! I realize that it's just big business and this is nothing more than a stall tactic, but it sure is depressing to be the little guy out here with tens of thousands of dollars in medical bills piling up and ruining my credit. I don't know about you, but I've about had it with being the little guy!

I'm glad to hear that you have such a wondferful SO. I don't know what I would do without mine! I'm sure he could think of a few things he could do without me, but he wouldn't dare say it out loud
