I'm not the one blowing smoke. Anyone can come in here and make wild claims about sales and bids.

So why don't u want us to check out your sales you're crowing about ?

pOcOno:

"I'll run right over and throw some Pentium 4, 1.5 gig PCs up with a penny starting price. "

I thought your concern was starting the auction at .01 you were sure to lose money on the computer.

My point is that you don't have to lose money if you set a reserve.

"Bet I'll get a bazillion BIDS too... "

So your concern was getting too many bids?

Yeah... I can see where that would be a problem.....

reamond: "I'm not the one blowing smoke." I guess you think I am lieing.

Wouldn't make much sense, since there is nothing to gain from this end.

But believe what you will, doesn't really matter.

Unless you have access to myebay, looking at my auctions would not do much good.

I decided when joining Auction watch back in 1999 that not using my Ebay ID was the best thing.

Likely for the same reasons that you don't use your ID.

More smoke for you.

Did a search on my auctions over the past 30 days:

557 Auctions.

3846 Bids.

wow! ~ what is your sell rate ~ I bet more than 90%?

Do you have to list very many?

pOcOno:Just because you are jealous because of someone else's success doesn't give you the right to be rude and SHOUT!
celebrityskin: Very good idea and ebay needs more of this if it's to be as good as it used to be!

We are coming off one of the most profitable eBay runs ever. I saw prices that were incredible, much like the early years 1997/98.

This is why, I think?

A clean, pleasing auction template of my own design. No third party ads to slow loading.

TOS with absolutely NO negativity. Terms cut to the bone.

Reasonable Fixed Price shipping.

400 auctions run over a fifteen day period. Fun MIX of antique and collectible items, from $5 to $150. Truly something for everyone - guaranteed multiple wins.

Large [no too large] clean and clear pictures. Minimum of two per auction.

Moderately high feedback with ultra low percent of negative feedback. Don't go there, you know I don't give negative feedback for NPBs! This is why.

Forgot to add:

A "run" timed for Mother's Day shopping.

And, no, I will not reveal seller ID. Don't go there, as Ripley said "Believe it or not!"

Peace, peace! eBay is not dead, he doth not sleep,

He hath awaken'd from the dream of life;

'Tis we, who lost in stormy visions, keep

With phantoms an unprofitable strife,

And in mad trance, strike with our spirit's knife

Invulnerable nothings. We decay

Like corpses in a charnel; fear and grief

Convulse us and consume us day by day,

And cold hopes swarm like worms within our living clay.

Sorry, I couldn't resist!

Nobody appreciates Shelley?

Nobody else wants to get on the "eBay is dead bandwagon," oh no!

Morgantown...I have so disbelieved all the rumors of ebay's death that I never even bought mourning clothes!

I think I'll forgo the funeral processions for ebay ...I looked and there was no body in the casket!
