GC2: The person you were thinking of was called "Model_Citizen". The last time he posted here seems to have been in September 2000. I too used to enjoy reading his posts and have wondered why he stopped posting.

Come on, really! Why would the mods be upset if a narued user could not post if there user ID was mentioned.

Joice,

Let me see if I have this straight. In just a few days a huge portion of AW posters will no longer be allowed to post here. Yet after those same few days, anyone left can talk about those gone at whim because there will be no moderators??????

Go figure. Somethings on AW never change.

PS. Gc2 , I loved Tom's sig line. Definately the best ever!

Tom (Model_Citizen) got frustrated when ebay redid the toy category some time ago. It seems it was going to really mess w/his business. I think he was going to take a break & regroup but he didn't come back to the boards.

He was the author of one of the funniest remarks I've ever seen posted here. Someone was in having a hissy fit over something relative minor & Tom said,

"Go to ebay, run a search on "Life". Then bid high & pay for overnight shipping."

I think I coughed up a lung, I laughed so hard. I still use his lines to this very day.
