cc - you have a good point about waiting to leave feedback, the good doc would love to hear me say this, but I always leave positive feedback if they hold up their end of the deal, fast replies, quick payment.....I will definitely rethink my posting of feedback! I didn't know I could follow up on the positive feedback that I already left....how do I do that?

CHC.....I'm another seller that doesn't post feedback until the item is received by the buyer and (most of the time) have posted for me.......I got burnt early on and posted as soon as payment was made, but found out also that the sale is not final until the customer has it in hand and is satisfied. I enclose a note in with my items that tells the buyer "Thanks for being one of my auction winners......upon receipt of your item, if you would post feedback for me (And I will be gladly doing the same for you), this is a way for me to know you received your item and keeps me from emailing you to see if it has arrived OK."

since many ebay members are both sellers and buyers, they know how this game is played.
so in the end,no feedback is left for either party.
the big waiting game?

When I buy, I leave FB as soon as the item is received in the condition as advertised.
As a seller, I don not leave FB until it is left for me. Some sellers leave it as soon as payment is received, which causes problems as pointed out by other sellers.
As the OP said, the deal isn't over until the customer is satisfied, refunded, or whatever.

Bump and an FYI.
Just because he had "Dr." on his check doesn't make him a doctor. Any schmoe can go through and get a PhD and call themselves "Dr." -- though I reserve that honor for the profession, not the degree.
