texeyecandy

put this person on your blocked list asap

This person went on a wild rampage bidding on 135+ auctions from approximately 100 sellers and left negs on all of us today.

Clearly this person has no intention of paying for any of them since all of the involved auctions ended 24-48 hours ago.

I have already applied to have the feedback removed.

Most of the sellers involved are lingerie, novelties and other clothing items.

I have a strong suspicion that this person may be a seller with another ID out to sabotage the rest of us.

If I can find the other ID's involved I'll be reporting them as well.

What a day.......

I think someone is playing a sick joke on the person who holds this ID. They had wonderful feedback but then all this after 1 month of non-selling or bidding.

I think some must have hacked that account, or this good seller lost their mind last night...

Glad they are NARU, and I hope that ebay removes all negatives. Please keep us up to date on that...

Why the hell would anyone with a perfect feedback rating, who has been a member for over two years, want to ruin what they took so long to build up? A good reputation.

I'm with kyms on this one. Either the person's account was hacked or maybe it was a family member who was mad at his or her parent.

If that was the case, I feel sorry for the person who's account was trashed, although I don't blame the sellers who received unwarranted negs for being angry.

Bad. Bad. Bad.

I wouldn't be suprised to read about an eBay user who went crazy and jumped out a window after going on a negative feedback posting binge. Probably got sniped on the steak knives they were bidding on.

Upon short contemplation, suicide would definately be the best course of action for this loser.

I have seen others decide to go out in flames before.

I saw a very highly rated seller 2,000+ feedback go on a rampage he had also redesigned his about me which was a rant on the unjustice Ebay had done to his business.

According to his rant on his about me page he was saying how Ebay allowed scammers to file fraud claims against him and how Ebay was cancelling auctions for no reason etc etc the standard list of gripes. Clearly it pushed him over the edge........

Who knows how many people get pushed to a point they want to ruin it for everyone.

I got a notice from Ebay saying I had meet some of the preliminary requirements to have that feedback removed but I must wait up to 10 days for a final evaluation. blah blah blah.

I will not let this one go as I clearly do not deserve this BS.

I sell clothing and the zero feedbacks bidding just for fun lately have been awful. Don't you wish there was a place where sellers could list the people who do this or don't pay. Not people they necessarily had problems with on an isolated deal but these cookamongas that just bid with no intention of paying. Anyone know of any website like that PLEEZE let me know I am sick of them.

jlb444: I've been thinking much the same thing lately.

Look, folks. You can have up to 1000 people on your bidder block list. Wouldn't it be nice to populate that with the usernames of people who are KNOWN deadbeats?

Just as long as you don't publish any personal information about the deadbeat...I can't see a problem. Anyone else?

(edited to add...)

If I were to set up such a site and solicit contributions, I would insist that for each seller providing the name of a deadbeat, s/he has to have left feedback on the deadbeat to that effect.

-1 feedback right at the beginning! GEEZ!!I'm a mental health professional and it looks like a psychotic break to me! I hope E-bay recitifies everyones feedback after this.

jlb444,

I don't know if there is one for auctions, but the coupon trading sites have a couple of reliable "bad trader" lists.

I thought about this on the way to work today (a quick thought; the commute is only four minutes) and it seems to me that we could post eBay userids of deadbeats here.

I'll go first, if you like. Bidders who have one or more negative feedbacks for non-payment:

snakes000555
waterglobez
midcu
alexisanndog
laroller

Who's next?

I am really laughing now are really really aloud to post them here? I have a whole paragraph of them in my blocked bidders list. I sell to a lot of teen on up and they are the ones sometimes who do this to auctions that is why I have so many of them. You know there are those free image event or photo hosting places that could put a page on and list them???? Thanks for the extra names though!!!!!!! Will they remove them?

I read on the ebay feedback board that someone contacted this person by phone and they had no idea this had happened, I guess they had not been on the computer at all in a few days.

She was horrified and said she was contacting Ebay right away.

Looks like it was a hacker or angry friend/family member... I feel so bad for all involved...

The deadbeat bidder list is a good idea. Maybe we could add in a 'nut cases that sort of pay' list too. We had one with three distinct personalites, each with his or her own checking account. Eventually his/her keeper would pay. Drove us zippy with long detailed instructions on how to tape boxes.

Is a list like this allowed?

I don't agree with putting a list here. What's stopping anyone from coming in and posting another buyer's or seller's ID just because they have a grudge against them or they don't like the competition?

All sorts of reasons that this can get all skewed and who is to judge the real facts?

That's just my opinion.

kiara: Read my comment CAREFULLY this time:

Bidders who have one or more negative feedbacks for non-payment:

Feedback is PUBLIC KNOWLEDGE. Anyone can look at feedback. Posting a pointer to someone's feedback doesn't violate any rules. This thread was started by someone posting a pointer to texeyecandy's feedback.

I did read it.

So what happens if an innocent bidder had the misfortune to deal with two crappy sellers who decided to change the terms of the auction afterwards so they didn't pay? Now they can have their name smeared all over here?

Now who do we know is telling the truth here?

If bidders don't pay and sellers file for their fees, the bad bidders will be gone. To spread names on a message board here is not the right way to go about it.

Like I said, that's my opinion.

Don't pick on Kiara on ebay cause she ain't me.

BTW, here's an example. I recently had a bidder who has over 1800 positive feedback. I didn't get paid right away and she got numerous negatives for nonpayment at that same time.

She was called out of town on an emergency while she was bidding on lots of items. She took care of everything when she got back. She is still on ebay and I would welcome her back as a bidder.

So be careful when you put names on a message board. There are two sides to every story.

Oh, sure <snort>. Over 90% of the people on my blocked bidder list are still active on eBay.

That's WHY they're on the list.

Edited to add:

NOT fluffythewondercat on eBay.

Well inquiring minds would still like to know I didn't post my list because...some of the people I put in there were well...just difficult and I just didn't want to deal with them again. like say I sold a pair of pants and expected me to run a channel around the hem for a drawstring for free...or always left people yucky feedback maybe not me but I didn't like the way they treated others and he also left me luke warm. But most 99 % are people who really didn't pay and or where just bidding for the fun of it like I said I get a lot of kids in my line so I get them all. But some weeks these idiots can ruin a week financially by the time I figure out they aren't going to pay. This week alone I had to cancel bids from two different -2 feedback id's with no positive what so ever in the feedback. If there was place they could be listed totally annonoymously then people could be warned please check the feedback and decide for yourselves if you want to block them.. The first list that was listed here only one of them was a registered user anyway.
