ROAD they would have to check the box, if they check the box I feel they are looking for an exact item. That's when I use it, if I want the right size, or complete title of an item.

title in caps is great2,
but if the description is all in caps,
it's impossible to read,
for ex. I cant read any of Jackseb posts
(sorry )
some one else here is right, it's hard to read and all of words run together.
but go for it in the title,

If you put "lk redken" in the title and the item is NOT redken at all, isn't that considered key word spamming??

Not to mention it could be considered a copyright violation.

O.K,,,,I JUST HAD TO SEE WHAT THE REST OF THE WORLD DOES AFTER READING THESE COMMENTS. JUST MY,,,,,,OPINION, BUT I THINK ONE OF THE HIGHER LEVEL OF SELLERS MAY,,,,, BE THE ANTIQUE SELLER TYPES.(NO, I DON'T INTENTIONALLY COLLECT OR SELL ANTIQUES.) HECK, THEY GOTTA BE OLDER, RIGHT? HAHAHAHHA. SO THEY HAVE BEEN AROUND THE BLOCK A FEW TIMES. MANY INDIVIDUALS AND MANY STYLES. THE ALL CAPS CAUGHT MY EYE AND THE OTHERS WERE LOST IN THE DUST. ALL CAPS NEVER,,,,,,,BLURRED MY VISION NOR WAS IT,,,,,,,,HARD TO READ. AS I DROVE FROM PLACE TO PLACE TODAY I WAS VERY AWARE OF THIS THREAD IN MY MIND AND REALLY,,,,,,,,,,,LOOKED AT SIGNS AND SUCH. NOT ONE STOP SIGN WAS IN LOWER CASE. ALL YEILDS WERE IN THE UPPER AND ALL OF THE FOLLOWING WERE ALSO. NOW I AM REALLY WORRIED THAT IT IS AS SOME HAVE STATED "HARD" TO READ ALL CAPS. STOP, NO RIGHT TURN ON RED, EXIT, 2 MILES, NO ENTRANCE. NO EXIT. SPEED LIMIT 35, MERGE, TOLL ROAD LANE ONLY, $3.50 TOLL. DO NOT BLOCK INTERSECTION. NO OVER NIGHT PARKING, WED. IS TRASH DAY $35.00 FINE........YOU KNOW. CAR POOL VIOLATION $365.00. LITTERING FINE IS $275.00. NO ROAD SERVICES NEXT 35 MILES, GAS, REST STOP 3 MI, WELCOME TO........THANK YOU FOR LEAVING, COME BACK SOON. HOSTPITAL ZONE, SPEED ZONE, 25 MPH ZONE. SCHOOL ZONE, EMERGENCY CARE 3 MI, SANTA ANA FREEWAY IS CLOGGED DUE TO ACCIDENT USE ALTERNATE ROUTE. CONSTRUCTION AHEAD, HIGHWAYS ARE PATROLLED BY AIRCRAFT, THE CALIFORNIA HIGHWAY PATROL AND YOUR STATE TOO. TRAFFIC FINES ARE DOUBLED IN CONSTUCTION ZONES, NOW REALLY,,,,,,,,,TELL ME, THESE ARE,,,,,,,HAHAHAHAH, HARD TO SEE OR READ. JUST ONE MANS PERSPECTIVE. LIKE PAUL HARVEY USE TO SAY, PAGE,,,,3. AND I DO BELIEVE ANDY ROONEY WOULD STAND BEHIND ME ON THIS ONE 100% TOO. GOOD NIGHT, CHET, GOOD NIGHT DAVID.

We all have our own style, we all do things for a reason and we all have our own stories to tell.
You don't want to read it, you just click off your brain and let your eyes slide right over it. If that doesn't work, AW has implemented a neat little feature called "ignore". You just click the name and click ignore and Voila, outa sight and outa mind.
We're all spinning on this same world, all of us along for the same wild ride and maybe all heading the same place. For a moment just think about all the war and hatred and all the bad things that happen to all the innocent little children.
There used to be a poster that came here and he would start many of his posts with:
FIRST OFF, CAPS MEAN NOTHING!
You know what? In the over all scheme of things, he was right.

geeididntrealizesomanypeoplewerejustusingallcapsintheirauctiontitlesithinkitwouldbewisetoswitchtolowercasejusttodifferentitatemyselffromthecrowd!
i mean this just looks garish:
RAREBRITNEYSPEARSTOENAILCLIPPINGWOW!
bigger bids this way:
rarebritneyspearstoenailclippingwow!
and it's actually much more pleasing to the eye, donchathink?
isn't it kind of unbelievable this thread has assumed a life of its own, i guess we all have a bit of free time on our hands this week with the bids kind of slow

I have never put anyone on ignore, even the ones I have had tiffs with. And in the end most people have taught me something.
After all, isn't all the styles that make ebay what it is? Just think, they could add more rules.
How about when you submit an auction and get the red error?
Text Error: Capitals in wrong place
Text Error: Spelling mistake
Image Error: Picture too orange
Image Error: Vase too far away on table
Soon we would all have cookie cut clean auctions and it would be really boring. It sure would cut down on the listings though if only the perfect people were left.

Caps, when used in a small area such as a title are just as effective as small letters. A more important consideration when writing titles is how much useful information you can provide. Words like L@@k and W@W limit the available space for useful data.
Some people complain about difficulty reading long paragraphs written in all caps so I would write descriptions in lower case letters with text breaks. A solid page of uninterrupted text is difficult to read when written with either caps or lower case letters.
