Well if you placed an order with me I would have all your info. (address etc)
When you then pay by CC I get the card holder info. (adress etc) no card number.
I simply do a comparison between the 2.
So then just how would me actually seing the CC number prevent this you from committing Fraud?
Remember this is thru a merchant account.
You could always dispute the charge & most likely win getting your money back.
The difference is I will at least get my say if you do. Unlike PAYPAL who would automatically freeze my entire account until I am able to fax them over everything except my first born & only after they decide who is right do they release anything.
To this date I have not had 1 chargeback thru any payment service I have used.
The fact is if someone wants to scam you they can find a way. Be it a B&M store or online. You need to be dilligent.
So why am I going to pay more to use an inferior service like PAYPAL?
Taking into account all fees associated with setting up & processing with my merchant account vs PAYPALs costs & fees. I have saved about 30% by having my merchant account.
