neonmania - the bidding war was down to the last ten seconds. We had no idea what we had since I couldn't find any info on it. Timing couldn't have been better since my girlfriend was fired recently! Now I wish I could find another one of those big hitters!

I felt like that too clive - I sold a postcard for $100+ last October and stumbled across another just like it last weekend. I listed it this week, excited for a repeat performance..... and still have NO BIDS!!!! It just takes two of the right people to see your listing....but if they are on vacation, have a broken pc, or whatever, you could end up with an unsold item or a one bid sale!

A relist that I did last week sold for $123.00. The week before it had no bids. The ironic thing about it I listed it for $30.00 with a BIN of $50.00 I did that because it had no bids previously and I wanted to sell it. Well my first bidder took away the BIN and guess who bought it yes she did but had to pay $123.00 instead of the $50.00. I find that a lot with relists that if it gets no bids the one week I relist it again right away and they usually sell.

vinnie: I am not trying to sell anything on this thread. This was just a fun way of seeing what ebay sellers sold their highest item for. Maybe you ought to wake up & smell the roses. Not everything is gloom & doom.

Sanmar if he thinks someone in here can afford it he better think again. I wouldn't be selling on eBay if I had that much money. This is an interesting thread. I enjoy reading what others do and maybe I can get a few hints. Well maybe a lot of hints....as I can use all the help I can get.

My husband got a Beatles album at a sale for $1.00. He had just purchase 500 albums from a guy the week before so he told me if I could sell it for $10 or $20 - go ahead.
It sold for almost $600.00 and it had a 3" scratch on it??

Sanmar, I don't want to see your stinking airplane.
If you want to sell it let ebay do it. Don't come here and use up bandwidth.
