I Do not go to this site too regularly but am I opening an old can of works here ?.
Naturally enough when ebay took over paypal you had to know they were going to change things (Vendio next ??). Quite some time ago when signing in I was offered a new user agreement with something like 100 days to accept this. Probably like many people, why rush, they gave me 100 days so lets leave it until nearer the time. Now when you sign in you get a memo that you have not accepted it and now they are sending out emails, once again remind you that you have not accepted. There is still more than two months left and yet
they continually harrass their customers about the issue. If you give someone 100 days to accept an issue, why do you need to keep jumping down their throats about it ???

many users dont remember that 100 days deadline, then on 101 th day, they log on and find out they cant use the service and start whining.
then they complain paypal customer service is terrible and is holding back commerce, bla bla bla.
first level of customer service is based in india,if they cant tackle it,then the usa customer service takes over, you want your request to go to india first??

I Am not in India, I am in the UK and I happen to pay a lot of money to paypal each
month. I Think therefore they should have some regard for the people who keep them going.......

I hope you don't think that someone is sitting ther typing out these messages. It is done automatically & will continue until you sign up. I wonder why you are waiting? You have 2 choices; sign up or lose PayPal. Does it make sense to wait?

you are missing the point-paypal has an office in india, our emails directed to customer service goes to india first and if they cant tackle it ,then is routed back to usa.
it does not make any difference whether you are in uk,usa or canada.
if you dont like to be harrassed ,why dont you either agree with it or just close your account, these are auto emails sent out to those who did not sign up,not targeted at you or any individual/

I haven't seen anything about me agreeing to a new agreement with Paypal so I guess I'll be one that they shut my account down.

It seems like Paypal can not go 90 days without changing it's TOS.
Each time they change the TOS they reset the timer to '90 days to accept new TOS'. I'm still on the second-to-last TOS because I waited and didn't accept their last TOS change.

MAH645; Are U a recent sign up with P/P? If so, you didn't have a choice, you were automatically under the new regs.

I Have been with paypal as long as they have been "international" so quite some
time. My point is that you give your
customers 90 days or whatever to mull
it over -- why on earth do you have
to keep on nagging them. Anything else
you get with a 90 day health warning or
agreement doesn't keep coming back to you
twice a week with reminders.

they probably dont have a way of distinguishing how many days left for individual members, whether it is one day or 90 days.why dont you suggest they should change the auto email feature to read the days past??

This one has a simple solution. Stop waiting & STOP WHINING. Either agree to the terms or decline them...period. Do it now...is there a reason for your delay? It's your own inaction that's causing the customer service e-mails that you find offensive.
