Ooops, I'll have to check on that - I didn't have to scroll at all. I thought maybe having the The Deal Wheel on top in Rainbow colors was a bit much, but my 16 year old loved that the best. I try to normally do the opposite of what he thinks is right

Much, much better. Nice subtle background, too. The wheel is no where near as distracting. I didn't have to scroll, but then I have a large monitor. Smaller monitors may have to scroll.

My husband just checked it - he had to scroll on his laptop. He also didn't like the rainbow on the words - thought we were trying to gear our site towards an "alternative lifestyle" clientel. More fixing today. I'm starting to work on the links, and I think those pages turned out well - just wish we could have come up with something classier on a wheel theme.

ps - I didn't have to scroll either

I dont think the size of the monitor is what causes the need to scroll, I think what matters is the resolution setting. Mine is set at 1024x768 and I dont need to scroll.

Tony is correct. I am on my computer with the ViewSonic 19" and have it set at 800 X 600 and don't have to scroll.
ihula, did you change the page again? I liked it better yesterday when I viewed it. It seemed to have a cleaner look. The links on the left for the different pages might look better lined up even?

Well, I did change the title so it wasn't it Rainbow colors anymore, and I moved the right half of the table with the words in them a little to the left so people wouldn't have to scroll. I didn't touch the part of the table with the links in them, though. Are they not lined up now?

Just a note, you are using the impact font. The problem with naming fonts explicitly is that if the viewer's computer doesn't have that font, something else will be substituted. In my case, it was a large hebrew font.
I would use a large times roman or arial font, since everyone has that.

Hey ihula...Looking good!
It takes time and work to figure out all the chunks.
here is a good site:

which links you to my personal fave...

Yes...get the education verion of Dreamweaver...you will be a happy hula!
It's all a learning curve, and the more you cross check and test, the better off things will look.
I like cleaner sites, some of the busier ones just make me back right out, even if it's a beading or equine site (my two heavy browsing areas, hehe). If you have a LOT of info to pack on a page, look at some of the magazine style formats which can really be an eye opener for, if nothing else, keeping the look of a site fresh. Image rotating, info, tidbits, links, etc, lots of ways to get people to come back. I go to one online bead seller because she has the best layout and the reptilian part of my brain can go "aaaaah," when I settle in to check my palette against what she sells. Simple Tables construction!
Dazzle with user friendliness.
It's fun, and Dreamweaver is really the only deal in town for ease of use.
Okay, now off to relist and reinvent some items that just did not sell...sigh, talk about learning curve...I am sitting on it here!
