I, too, recently signed up for the Anything points program. There is one catch (or two) I've noticed so far:
Anything points will only cover the final value price of the auction item. Points cannot be used to cover shipping and handling charges. I'm not really sure why this is.
Also, Anything points and say, airline miles do not have equal value. 20,000+ miles actually equal around 14,000+ Anything Points once the transfer has gone through. Kinda bites. I really can't conceive of using my miles for anything else in the near future though. I don't really need (or want) more magazine subscriptions.
