Went to our local flea market this morning. I don't ususally find anything good there, but I think I did okay this time. Got a piece of beautiful green needle etched Elegant Glass for $1; a 1960's Inarco creamer and sugar bowl in the most gorgeous lime green with white daisies and orange centers (so Retro) for $2; some great pieces of old jewelry (cheap); a small old oil painting (wish I could read the artist's signature) for $4.00; a cool vintage plastic purse that's artist signed for $4 and an Arklow Irish plate for $1. Not too bad. Got a bunch of other things too. I may post a photo of the oil to see if anyone recognizes the signature. That is going to end up on my wall.

I am on vacation, but still working lol - I am in Las Vegas, not very good here for garage sales (it is very hot) but the flea market was busy here. Got lots of good stuff, can't wait to get it home and sell it. I love being more knowlegeable than the sellers! I found a rare video for $1 that I will sell for about $70...lots of other decent finds too.

I went to an estate antique auction on Saturday and bought over half of the items for under $2000. The auction was held in an old barn that stunk of cat #*!@ after 1 hour almost everyone left. I had to rent a u-hual and a 10x20 storage shed to store all the stuff. Luckily the items don't stink it was the floor of the building that stunk. I just sold a item that came from that auction for $1100. to a local antique shop.

Don't rent from U-Haul!! They have been known to have problems with the trucks or the box in the back.
