The key word is "state". This putz did not state that in his terms.

I would love to know where you are shopping. I have not seen a mail order company or internet company say anything about 4-6 weeks shipping in years...wait I take that back, the other night there was a "male enhancement cream" infomercial. They said allow 2-4 weeks for shipping.
I have never seen a company that offers expedited shipping and take a week to get the goods out.

Some people are buying for gifts and need to get a idea when they will receive it.

Then they should ask before bidding, even if seller promises the moon, take it with a grain of salt.
we all know why we shop on fleabay-it is cheaper, not necessarily better or faster.
anyone who holds individual sellers who work from home to the same standard as tiffany, nordstrom or marshal field should go blank blank blank blank!!!!!!
and then there are some who are buying to resell or already have committed the not yet received goods!!!

years ago i ordered some lamps etc from a mail order company, their products come from china ,(dont they all come from china these days??),ANYWAY,their terms said 4-6 weeks but they arrive in 2-3 weeks.
this is to cover their ass as containerloads come in from china can get stuck somewhere due to weather, strike,or slow customs or any logistics problems.
as they sell down, they order by containload,so hence the long delivery time.
