i customized my Vendio automatic emails (eoa, payment received, item shipped, etc), to say just what I would say in a time consuming one at a time email. I have received many compliments on the checkout system because of this. quick, easy and saves me hours of typing.

Okay, I'll share my most recent efficiency improvements. That's really what we're trying to talk about here, right? Doing more in less time.
1) I scan lots of small objects. One day it occurred to me that the actual scanning time (about 30 second on my single-pass scanner) didn't have to be spent on each object. Now I group four or five items on the scanner glass and make one master scan. The master scan is held as a temp file, then I cut each image out of it as I post the item. For five items that saves me two minutes.
2) I use USPS Shipping Assistant to make labels. I used to use Virtual PC on a Mac to run this software, and it could take up to three minutes per label. Grindingly slow. So I bought a cheap Windows laptop that does the same job in 30 seconds per label. Worth the price and then some!
I am not a bathtub full of brightly-colored machine tools on Vendio.
